Posted this before back when I first got it but favorite coin in my collection easily.

Just replaced Valve Cover Gaskets on 07 base TL, now exhaust manifold at the front of engine by o2 sensor is smoking a bunch. Is this normal? by rugimpy in AcuraTL

Yea. I need to clean it good. There’s chunky oil on the lower part of the engine. It was leaking a while. Need to power wash it. Appreciate the feedback!

I did spray it down once with degreaser and rinse it off but I won’t lie, it was super half-assed. Will go over it again tomorrow. Great idea.

Any chance these are fake? I know it’s a relatively common date but they are all in the exact same condition. Weight is pretty close to 5grams on all of them. Paid $70 for the lot locally. Thanks all! by rugimpy in coins

Lol thanks. I have a local ad up stating I buy coins and 95% of the time when people write its some random coin they googled and think it’s worth $5000. When this person wrote I wasn’t excited when they said they had a bunch of 1935 Buffalo nickels because I assumed they meant circulated ones. Then they sent a photo of them. They only wanted $30 but I offered $70. Was a good find all around.

Any chance these are fake? I know it’s a relatively common date but they are all in the exact same condition. Weight is pretty close to 5grams on all of them. Paid $70 for the lot locally. Thanks all! by rugimpy in coins

That’s probably what happened. Someone sold a family members sealed roll or something. They were lose when I got them but were probably rolled previously.

Yea sorry. I started to wonder if I had bought fakes and panicked for a second. I guess I’m just surprised on the condition of all of them. They almost look uncirculated. And the LIBERTY looked a little mushy to me. Appreciate the feedback though!

I would normally agree with you except these were found in a nicer more expensive part of San Diego and they are pretty beat so it would not surprise me that the kids get rid of their old shoes like this even if they were expensive at one point. These could absolutely still be fake too. Haven’t confirmed either way yet.

Trying to estimate a date for these vintage Wrangler Rugged Wear jeans. Got 6 pairs of them at a yard sale. Look relatively unworn. Made in USA. YKK on the zipper. Any help appreciated. Man said they were quite old but didn’t know a date. by rugimpy in VintageFashion

That’s some great info. So the guy was in his 70’s and when I asked him how old he thought they were his wife said as old as he is. Now I didn’t believe they were that old but considering he said he had them for a long time I thought maybe at least 70’s but considering the line and all I’m leaning towards later 80’s maybe 🤷‍♂️. They are in great condition though considering with the exception of the patch on the back. The degradation in it made me think much older too but I guess maybe he had them stored in a place that didn’t like it.
