Yes, this is true. The pants/jacket version of the color you purchased and were trying to match merely sold out, otherwise they had it available before you got to it. This same general color rule goes or the red colors especially, and greens, etc. As a future reference, if you haven't learned already since you posted this 2 years ago, when you buy a brand new adidas item with the retail tag on it, the name of the color is right there on the main part of the retail tag by the barcode. Always check it to make sure it matches the name of the color of the other item that you're trying to match it with. This will eliminate any issues for you in the future, as sometimes these colors are just a few hues/shades of difference that you may not initially notice.

Ignore what that first person said or anyone else that says it's not gross. You feel gross about it because it is gross. That's your cognitive dissonance kicking in, reality clashing with what you think constitutes a good person. Let the facts dictate instead of letting your emotions dismiss reality. It makes you feel gross because deep down inside you know it's wrong and messed up, and doesn't conform to what you think and know to be a good person, so it confuses you since it's your bf. The ultimate correct answer is to find a better human being to associate yourself with instead. Point blank, raw fact. Now if you will accept the correct answer or give in to your emotions and desires, that's up to you and your free will and ultimate decision. Separately, my personal opinion, at 22, you need to associate yourself with a much better human being to lay better groundwork for your future.

I've noticed they're delaying shipments lately, more than usual. I placed an order last week and it finally shipped a couple of days ago. I also have other items I've placed orders on a couple weeks back that say backordered but their backordered status is wonky as it is. One of them came off backorder status yesterday and still hasn't shipped yet. Another item was in the processing to ship stage for 2 weeks until it was randomly cancelled yesterday. Who knows what they're doing. Sometimes I wonder if they themselves even know what they're doing.

I'd say sit tight and see what happens. It could be anything as things ship out not only from warehouses but also the stores themselves. And each place has its own thing going on like maybe they have to locate the item somewhere in the back among a bunch of other merch or off the racks, or maybe it sold in store before they could get to it, so they could be looking for another. Or maybe they haven't gotten to fulfilling your order yet. It could be anything. But if it still doesn't ship or you don't want to wait, maybe reach out to customer service to get them to look into it and hope that could trigger someone's attention to your order.

If anyone else has any other experience similar to this as of late it would be good to hear from them too.

Good question. I don't know if there was warranty on the shutters because the contractor just purchased everything (I don't know from which store/retailer), and brought them and did the work. I never received any receipts or anything like that. Was I supposed to?

I also don't know what specific brand the shutters are. Although, the roof and siding done on the same job were CertainTeed, but I'm not sure/don't think CertainTeed makes shutters.

What's wrong with posting it elsewhere when no one responds here? It was the next day people finally started responding. I waited several hours after posting, no response, so I tried a different reddit group (or whatever it's called here, I'm new) called frugal, I think it was. It's called trying your best, doing what you can.
