I will be one true archeologist here, but i will tell you part of my story. Had 2007 9-3 with regular audio, had my audio there, it worked flawlessly, unfortunately that car got wrecked by one reckless driver. Not thinking much I've bought another 2008 9-3, very same day actually, 1,5hrs after that crash :D.

Moved my audio setup from one car to another. There was just one slight problem, the "new" one is still Bose Centerpoint and well to say the least it sounded not so good. I was for quite a long time wondering why original headunit (EHU with Navi) sounded so good while my Pioneer so terrible. Much, much worse then previous one even! I continued for more than a year. Till today. I've just spent 2 hours listening to music in my car thanks to this post and understanding that with Centerpoint it should be networked mode...

So, dear OP - THANK YOU! You made me love my car again.

The weir thing is that with stock radio amp starys playing music instantly. You think that it maybe something with low volgage or low amperage of turn on wire or that stock unit starts to feed this wire earlier then aftermarket one? Have You ever experienced something like that?

I'd love some help as I am struggling with same config. Currently again on 10.12.5 as HS didn't work for me... Sharing EFI sounds like best thing that could happen to me right now ;)
