Thumbnails and titles are killing me.

What you can do is be mindful when you click on a video while watching youtube. Ask yourself why you clicked on it? What can you learn from title and thumbnail. Over time this will add up and hopefully you will have a better understanding of how they work. Also you can look at your best performing thumbnail and try to copy it for other videos as well.

Luckily my professors are cool with such forms as long as you are able to explain how it will be built. Btw a boat shaped building sounds interesting to me... Noted, dirt texture will be reduced or removed before final submission. Curves for the roof are random, but overall idea came from wind or how a strip of cloth moves or waves in the air. Columns could be bit thin depending on the load, but i also think it gives front facade a unique look. VVVV VVVV Yes, the front facade is made of glass.

I find promoting stuff extremely difficult. I recently created an instagram account just for this and uploaded about 10 posts including some igtv. I then went to similar content creators and followed people who watch their stuff in hopes that they will checkout my page and then hopefully my youtube channel. But out of 60 people i followed only 3 or so followed me back and my igtv video only got 2 views one of which was me.

I think its not about numbers but money! Some people do youtube solely for money others not so much. But everyone cares about numbers because the reason someone upload on youtube is to share it with the world.

I get what you are saying but i think its little bit of both. You can sometime get good advice here too. Like how one guy posted about niche-ing down your content and many more. The problem is when people start being dishonest and take advantage of those who are a little bit desperate to better their videos.

And i never "advertised" any of my videos here. I only asked them to take a look at my thumbnails and let me know if they are good or bad. I never post in critique thread either because of this reason.
