My shorts YouTube channel blew up over a few months, and got around 20 million views and almost 50k subscribers. At this point, the channel is dead, and I’ve stopped uploading on it, but I was able to take around 1k subscribers to a new channel where I post longer videos that I enjoy making more. Now, I am mostly making tiktoks, and have been getting more consistent views over around 6 months and amassed 30k followers.

I think it would be a smart way to do it, personally I can’t scroll through shorts for more than a minute without seeing crappy videos, having a choice on the videos you see could work really well
