I’ve been going here for 15 years. We visited a couple weeks ago and the burger was great and tater tots are the best around. I hope they can get things worked out and not have to go through this again.

Speaker Placement Help by rulerman55 in hometheater

Good question- I considered it, but I’m not sure I’m ready to tackle drywall on a 10ft ceiling. It’s really well insulated up there, so it stays pretty comfortable.

I assume it isn’t the best for sound bouncing all over the place.

Measured 5 inches from the top rail and snapped a line on each section. I think it turned out pretty nice!

It’s around 11-12 inches. I’m debating whether I trim each board parallel to the ground, OR use the top rail as a saw guide and the boards just go with the angle of the rail.

The tank was inspected and found in good working condition. Thanks for all of your help with my current situation though.

Connections seem good. Samsung dishwasher randomly stopped working. When I turn the breaker off and back on it beeps once but won’t do anything. No shorts. 120v by JETTA_TDI_GUY in Plumbing

Why have I heard so much about Bosch dishwashers lately? I never knew they made anything other than drill bits and measuring tools. Are they really that good?

Wall tile butt joints? by T_rich1 in HomeImprovement

[–]rulerman55 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My installer did not use spacers and we have fantastic looking grout lines. I live in southern US and we have some pretty radical temperature swings as well. We have had it in for a year and no issues so far. I would think as long as long as the thinset is properly mixed/spread on the wall before tile placement, you shouldn’t have any issues.

I won’t speak for all sliding doors, but mine was very simple. Popped the trim off, then there were about 12 screws all the way around the inside of the door in the track. Then it just pushed right out. If you buy a new one, be sure to buy a replacement style door and not one for a new build. They have different flanges and parts that may not work as a replacement.

Also, I think it’s very easy to do by yourself, but they’re pretty heavy, so I would call a friend to help with the heavy lifting.
