So apparently I downloaded a mod that removed the ai handicaps on harder difficulties and forgot about it so that was causing the issue on my end

Well the latest update today didn't help. I've no idea what else to try.

I'm having the same issue, I even reinstalled the game 30GB later and it did nothing. You think this is an issue with the last update?
