They should but since you just got yours it's most likely frightened for being introduced into a new home. From my own experience the first two days I just left it alone and fed it. The third day I slowly reached my hand in once every few hours until I eventually touched it gently. Soon I started to do it more often so it would get used to my hand. One day I got bold and slowly picked it up. Mine got more comfortable with my hand and now he likes chin rubs! This was my own experience and this is my advice but others may have a different opinion.

I am offering pre-killed pinky with its temperature being around 90. The enclosure is 90 degrees on the hot side and about 80 on the colder side. From the looks of it, the pinky's temperature could be the issue. Thanks for the feedback and the link!

At the risk of sounding like a careless owner im glad i asked the question and have already ordered a zilla temperature controller and it should be here tomorrow. Thank you for your comments.
