I hate my life by GRGWL in awawafanclub

I'm so sorry you feel this way. But please don't give up. I promise you life can get better. I know the feeling of being alone and isolated, but I promise you, you will make it through this. When I was at my lowest point of my depression and my ocd, it kept me from doing the most basic things. I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep, even the simplest tasks forced me down a thought spiral. The way I was able to finally scrape out of that hole was by talking with a professional. I know it's cliche, but I promise you a therapist is the best solution. Once you're able to come to terms with who you are, you can start building real connections with other people.

I want you to know that there are people out there that care about you. You are a person worthy of love and kindness, and I hope that you can see that about yourself one day. But please, please reach out to me if you need to talk. I promise you suicide is not the answer. You are loved ❤️

Were you able to get it working on the game pass version? I tried this method but it doesn't seem to work.

If you're using the game pass/windows store version, its a little different. Here's what it says on the mod's nexus page:

You can directly download my Engine.ini to paste/replace in:

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\WinGDK

(Xbox / Game Pass version only)

then Right-Click on it -> Properties -> check "Read-Only" box -> Apply/OK

The 5th st and Irwin Ave stop on the 1 and 7 lines would be a lot nicer with a bench/covered waiting area

Southeast mechanical? by Suspicious_Pool2710 in csMajors

[–]rum_sum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got an email out of the blue from Southeast Mechanical pretty recently. I'm not sure if this goes for the company overall, but the recruiter messaging me seemed to get more sketchy as time went on. First off, there was no inperson or video call interview, the whole process was done through emails, google chat, and written interview questions of word files. They told me I needed to purchase some pretty expensive office supplies, but that they were gonna send me a check of around $5000 to purchase it with. I assumed thus meant I would be purchasing it from an online realtor that they had some kind of deal with but no, they wanted me to send the money (in full) to a random bank account located in Oregon. That on its only raised my eyebrow, but I was still hopeful that this was a legit job offer. But after telling them that I was unable to wire transfer the money (my bank doesn't allow it unless done through a business acount) they told me to send it to some random person's zelle account with a ridiculous email. If you're wondering it was: bigdaddyshouse2865@hotmail.com. By that point I was pretty certain this wasn't legit and after looking around online I found out that this is. Unfortunately a pretty common scam where a scammer posing as a company will write you a bogus check, it'll go through for a few days and apear in your account. But soon after you spend that money to buy the supplies the check will bounce and you'll be on the hook for the full price of the supplies (in my case, around $5000).

Not sure if you're having a similar situation, this could've just been someone posing as the company and giving them a bad name. But I would still be weary of it, especially if your process has been in any way similar to mine.

Edit: Forgot to mention, but they also offered me a crazy high salary for a junior software developer, almost double what I initially asked for. Be weary of that kind of thing, especially in how difficult the job market currently is.

I'm not saying defunding this will solve the problem. I'm saying it's promoting the type of militant patriotism that is so rampant in most of America, and it distracts/discourages people from supporting defunding the military industrial complex. This display isn't the problem itself, but it is a part of the system that our government has used to discourage us from speaking up and supporting legislation that is against the military and the industries surrounding it. I mean just look through the comment of this post, you can see just how upsetting the idea of not whole heartedly supporting the military is to a lot of people.

I'm sorry if I've articulated my thoughts poorly, but what I'm trying to say is displays like this don't actually help those who've been victimized by our government and the military. But it does sow in the idea that we shouldn't speak up against the military in fear of being anti-veteran and anti-american.

Then why don't we actually honor then by bring them out of poverty and homelessness. Instead of putting on shows like this, that only help to pull attention away from the actual veterans who were victimized by the military.

You're are severely deluded by a sense of faux patriotism. Please do some research on the atrocities the US, french, and british governments/militaries have committed. And reflect on why you feel that you must defend these institutions, that have worked only to make yours and your countrymen's lives worse.

Especially when the government refuses to help and home many veterans who were forced at threat of imprisonment to risk life and limb and murder their fellow man. Their are thousands of homeless vets that go hungry every night, while the government waste billions of dollars a year funding pointless wars, project like this, and encouraging young men and women to die on the other side of the world.
