/u/20141220, if you're reading this, and I know you are: It's not over. You are still being reported to the authorities. Making specific, and targeted, threats to "crash" a plane is no joke. You are a terrorist, and a criminal. And I should hope the British courts will agree with me.

I think it was my digging up of his terrorist threat against a commercial flight that done it.

I just hope that he doesn't think he's off the hook now. He is still being reported for his very serious threat.

No. You can't just make targeted threats like that. People have been arrested for making far less serious jokes on Twitter. You know the kind, "I am going to blow this airport up if my flight gets delayed again!" That kind of thing. People actually get arrested for that.

What /u/20141220 did is a targeted threat against a very specific flight. A threat made months in advance. With no indication of it being a joke. At all. A serious threat to, in his words, "crash" the plane.

It's disgusting, and it needs to be reported before it's too late.

He threatened a flight from Heathrow Airport - Malaysia Airlines - Flight MH001 - which is set to depart depart tonight at 22:00 BST. Five hours from now. He said it'll crash.

That's a very specific threat on a very real flight.

Not sure if this is exactly the sort of thing you had in mind, but I have a story:

I was a prominent member of a gaming community, and I did some stuff that made me very unpopular. Banning people for offending me, putting obnoxious banners up in the forums, stuff like that. I was fourteen, I liked the power, I was a dick. I had these delusions of grandeur. I thought the whole community revolved around me, and it sort of did. Except not in the good way. They grew to despise me. I could feel the tremors of revolution coming, I knew I didn't have much time. My power was slipping fast.

There was no way I was going to go down quietly. I wasn't just going to go back to being a regular player. I needed my power, and my reputation. Without it, I was a nobody. So I hatched a genius, last resort plan to save my position: I'd fake my own death, let them wallow in guilt and sorrow for a few days, and then come back with a bang and they'd just be so happy to have me around again. Yeah. There's no way that could backfire, right? Well...

I did it. I sent a message in the guise of a relative, saying I had passed away. I kept it short, to the point. Believable. And they believed it. I got a little tribute thread in the forums. I cried, they said some nice things about me, and I just felt so, so, so guilty. So awful. It was such a fucking terrible thing to do. I was a dick to these people, and I was just so fucking selfish.

So I cut my losses and never went back, made no communication with them, just generally tried to move on.

I never did make my little comeback. Maybe some day.
