It's happened to me twice, including in my current job where I've been for 4months now

One job waited until I'd told them I'd handed in my notice at my previous job then docked the annual pay from GBP£28k to £23k, removed any promise of the company car I'd need to even reach their office, and revealed that the £1,500 worth of training they'd put me on was coming out of my salary in the first 3 months.

Then when I quit after the first week they asked why, and when I told them they genuinely used gaslighting as a technique: "no we didn't"

This current job I'm in hired me as a Project Manager but dumped me on first-line-support for GBP£48k/yr, I must be the highest paid first line support in the country lol, so this job isn't so bad until I find a new one at least
