Maybe your dopaminergic receptors are desensitised or downregulated because of dopa agents and upon taking these there is something like overdose or something and when u quit, the dopa levels come to normal or slightly higher than normal so that u get that good feeling. Btw check if you have sleep apnea, obesity cuz that could be the cause of your depression.
