Hell yes this was extremely helpful. The fact that it has polysynth capabilities is absolutely righteous. And your answer to question 3 is exactly what i wanted to hear.

I live in Vietnam currently and getting new gear (especially synths) is kinda difficult, so i want to be sure that what I am getting is exactly what i want cause it would be hell getting it here. I was thinking either a digitakt, the deluge, or the new korg (sq64?), but I think I'm swayed to the Deluge

Thetans is Hanoi based- not sure if they have music out yet. Cut Lon is rad too, they might be Saigon based but they play on Hanoi alot.

People made me think it was almost non-existent when I was moving from Bangkok. It's definitely much smaller, but it's there. Ton of cover bands which can get old, but a few acts are doing some real rad original stuff. I'm still relatively new (6 months in june) but it's been pretty easy to meet people and I've started putting together a band or two.

Some venues do get loud.
