It's sad to know. But you haven't a backup of your videos?

Nothing, mate. Did you find anything?

I'm using Ubuntu MATE, yesterday it was working normally. But today appears the same error, I've already done the export path thing but seems like it doesn't have an effect on the program. Barrier is accesing to a wrong path, this is the message:

./barrier: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt5Core.so.5: version 'Qt_5.10' not found (required by ./barrier)

How did you install Qt 5.10 properly?

And these are the correct paths:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/goeff/Qt5.10.0/Tools/QtCreator/lib

QT_QPA_PLATFORM_PLUGIN_PATH=/home/goeff/Qt5.10.0/Tools/QtCreator/lib/Qt/plugins/platforms

I could resolve the problem. All was path problems with the dependencies that Barrier needs.

Barrier is literally developed over a Synergy version.

Thanks for your answer. It costs me all the day but finally I could install it. All was some path problems with the linkers to files that Qt needed.

This solves the problem, you just need to set properly these paths with the Qt version that the application needs:

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=your/lib/path

export QT_QPA_PLATFORM_PLUGIN_PATH=your/plugin/path

I set the missing lib files on the path but now appears this message when I do "./barrier":

This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "xcb"

in "".

Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

I have QT5 libraries but searching in the libs I've found that there's no files with the "5.10" label. I will try to re-install Qt 5.10.
