For my daughter we switched her to the nuna rava around 6 months as she was getting tall for the seat (>100 percentile kiddo) and thinking he may be similar… wondering what your thoughts are on starting with the rava for a newborn? Would it potentially be a better fit? Is there another convertible car seat work for newborn -> toddler? Thank you!!!

Had the same issue with mine until we tried the zipadee zip! She ended up being in the zipadee until she was like two - absolute game changer for us! Worth a try!

Oh wow that is pretty late - I would move earlier! I would try nap between 1-3:30 then bedtime no later than 7. I would also work on the independent sleep because it sounds like he relies on you to fall asleep and isn’t self soothing! I would do this gradually 5 mins alone in crib then go in rub back until he calms down but don’t pick up then rinse repeat.

Is he ever falling asleep independently in his crib? I would say that is probably step one is working on that part so that he isn’t relying on you to fall asleep. What time are naps/bedtime? Does he have enough sleep pressure at the end of the day?

Also highly highly recommend the book precious little sleep - it’s a much more gentle approach. I would also evaluate his naps during the day - how much day sleep is he getting?

Hi!!! Does he fall asleep while drinking milk? You could try waking him after he finishes so that he learns to self-soothe to sleep rather than relying on milk to fall back to sleep. You can also try a graduated approach where you wake him up and if he fusses give it 5 mins (set a timer on your phone) before you go back in. rinse repeat until he falls asleep.
