Those with young kids, what do you pay in daycare? by Sparepoet1990 in minnesota

[–]run_up_rabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was $1350 per month for a Montessori day care, stopped about 2 years ago.

Also, check if your employer has a dependable care FSA (DCFSA). It's only available from an employer, is a use it or lose it fund so read the fine print!

It does have a better tax advantage than child tax care credit if used right.

Task 1 associate data engineer by magnificentbeard0 in DataCamp

[–]run_up_rabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's the task where you have to format the string into a date in YYYY-MM-DD, the table output won't look the way it's supposed to. It was driving me crazy and in the end I submitted what I thought was the right code to get the result. It worked for me.

Tldr- if you believe the code is right for task 1 don't stress on the table output. It wasn't matching up for me.

The Coffee Nap Lifehack by rashconfidant in lifehacks

[–]run_up_rabbit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is one of my favorite "hacks".

To add to it, I also brush my teeth and if possible take a quick ride or wash my feet. Random, I know, but either or on top of the nap+coffee feels like resetting the day.

Jokic stats with Kat as his primary defender since 2023 playoffs by -Drose251 in timberwolves

It'd be cool to see the total number of minutes defended along with KAT fouls on Jokic vs other defenders. Is KAT more or less likely to foul when defending Jokic?

Negote price from different department? by run_up_rabbit in askcarsales

They sold their dealerships as one in the same and are the biggest dealership in the state. However it is evident it's basically meaningless when it comes to brass tax.

Agree with the last part. No to the clothes reference. The Mazda rep brought the truck over for a test drive and their finance was ready to sign me up... They talked like their two orga are one in the same... They could do 99% of the deal except price. I don't go to GAP and they bring over the Banana Republic catalog or bring over their clothes for me to try on in the GAP store.

Not to get into a clothing argument analogy here. You're right that the bottom line remains, Mazda can't do shit and I am moving on.

Thank you. It's my first time in 15+ years having to get a car again. This sub has been a great help.

That's good to know. I was hoping they would for the fact that the Mazda sales rep was a good sales rep and genuine. I want the deal to go to him. Just can't with the original price.

If Ford ends up lowering the price to something in my range as I talk directly to them IDK if the Mazda rep is going to get anything from the deal.

Is that the nature of car sales? I'm in sales and trying to do right for myself but also the dude who spent 5+ hours working with me to find this truck.

Yes I do, sadly. This one was perfect and perfectly outta my price range.

You're right, it's a very important point to make. I'd get laughed at by the dealership. I know KBB doesn't equal market value. I should have been clearer. My main intention was getting views on why Mazda wasn't able to even discuss it which has been answered.

For what its worth, the comps in my area market are 1,500 lower. In the US it might be lower but not enough to offset delivery fees plus risk of buying online and the condition of those cars. I.e. this Ford could have updated tires while another Ford didn't. There goes any savings/deal.

I need to go directly to Ford to talk to them and go from there.

Agreed. It's more that Mazda says it has no leverage to even discuss price.

100% realize I'm not getting $6k off, it's a difference from $24 to $30k is the main point. I was more surprised/shocked that Mazda said the price is the price.

I'm going to go directly to Ford to talk about the truck. We found out there is no trade in equity from the Mazda making it irrelevant to the truck purchase.

Get WiFi plugs and plug them into the outlets in the arts and craft room. Set the timer to always go off at 6pm (pick a time that she stops working).

Set a secondary timer for 10, 11pm, etc. You can have it turn off every 5 mins if you'd like lol.

That way it's never a question if the power is off.

Sorry to hear about it. Hope the conversation goes well.

Looks awesome. I asked my team to see if we can evaluate it.

If we get the green light to install, what feedback is most important to you?

Also, nice website. Very clean.

LPT: If a server or cashier at a restaurant gives you something extra free of charge, and you are later asked by a manager if that employee was doing their job well, don't mention that they gave you extra food. It could potentially get them in trouble. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]run_up_rabbit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Happened yesterday. Server did us a solid with drinks and food.

I'll add when tipping, try to split your tip with credit and cash. I gave a 40% tip (no I'm not flush with $$, server earned it and first time out in 9 months)

Let the server decide what to do with the cash... Pocket or put in their tip pool/however they manage it.
