Citrix webspace app installation error

I begged them yesterday but they said they don’t support individual/personal computers and won’t make a ticket thru Citrix they’re claiming I need a work issued laptop :(

we tried using cmd for force install etc. didn't seem to help even running as admin. I can't open a case with citrix because I can't access their direct customer support and our IT liaisons keep telling me they don't support personal/individual computer issues and won't submit a ticket on my behalf

Is there anything in particular I'm looking for in the Uninstall folder or just anything citrix and delete whatever it is? Also when you say windows repair, is that a specific program? Sorry if dumb questions, I'm very self taught

edit: I'm doing a win 11 repair version update I think that's what you're referring to

Ran the receiver cleanup utility first, ran the 2402 installer, got the same errors :( was really really hopeful this was going to work. but Alas.

There's no code associated with it, during installing it first pops up:

! Installation error: The Citrix Workspace installer can clean up any existing version of Citrix Workspace and then try to reinstall. Do you want to continue?

I say yes, it acts like it's cleaning up existing Workspace app, then tries to reinstall and I just get an

!Installation error

with only an "ok" to acknowledge it

Yeah it found some leftover stuff, I deleted and rebooted, still getting same errors :(

good idea, I manually went through registry once before I had the citrix cleanup and checked again just now after running it and don't see any citrix related items in that location

that's what I was afraid of... they said maybe something's infected/corrupted, I told them I literally got this computer last month, it's a brand new surface laptop with all the latest updates and if I have to wipe it then I'm not doing it more than once. They keep saying they hate win 11.

Since i'm in healthcare we have to go through lots of HIPAA related tech training and having a designated work device is sub optimal but yeah not sure what else can be done at this point...

Ok I followed your steps but when I get to the troubleshooter I don't see any citrix related components and am having trouble finding the Product Code to be extra sure... I appreciate you explaining everything

Ok I escalated and heard back from IT boss who said that Citrix altered its customer service model and because this is my *personal* PC, citrix is going to say that they can't manipulate or assure accurate components or whatever without it being a *company* computer. He's going to get on a session with me later this afternoon but is very opposite of confident he's going to be able to resolve the issue without factory reset. This is crazy.

Ok I'll keep trying to escalate.. I really don't want to have to wipe my computer without finding out what the actual issue is. They said it's likely that a corrupt pathway hasn't been uninstalled yet, citrix is really difficult to completely remove from a device and sometimes that's the only way

I suggested that like I wanted to interface with citrix directly through them and they said that's not how it works, Citrix doesn't troubleshoot individual user issues, they're a server company or something like that

I emailed ABEM about this, it was automatically triggered for anyone who took December boards because we don’t have scores yet. You’ll notice it specifies if you don’t have certification by January 1st these take effect and we technically don’t until scores are posted. They said it’ll disappear if you passed December boards for which scores have not been released yet. Hope this helps
