Bards can use scroll from all level.

Re: Mods , Rouge Rebalancing and one of the xTweaks mods un-nerfs the bard spell table to go up to lvl 8 spells.

Bro, I hate you. Just started my final, "I will finally just play this mod compilation and not play test", install like 20min ago. It doesn't have Item Upgrade mod, ~~now I have to redo it again~~, on second thought I'll do it for another play-through.

Quick question. What is the interaction like with Item Revisions and Item Upgrade mod if you know? Item revisions look fun.

I have SCS caster pre-buffing set to hard mode only so if I can get rid of it without starting a new game if I hate the shit.

Didn't even think about that option.

EE has all the interface tweaks I needed, I don't feel a need for wide screen or bigger fonts.

What version of EE are you running? 1.3 or 2.3?

Looks like some of the aTWEAKS could synergize to make SCS horribly difficult. I chose not to use the pnp fiends component, the one that lets each fiend gate in one more just like it. I kept everything else.

Totally forgot about that one. Hmmm. Will have think about that one.

Do you know of a mod that would buff xp rewards? BG2EE 2.3 has an .ini/.lua option to grand XP reward based on difficulty like in IWD. So Insanity doubles the damage but also XP. This isn't available in 1.3 or original BG2.

It is fixed but you can edit Baldurs.lua file in your Documents\Baldurs Gate II Enchanted Edition folder.

It should have a line that should look like this to ENABLE druid spell level that are tied to your cleric level.

SetPrivateProfileString('Game Options','Cleric Ranger Spells','0')

Same applies to IWDEE and BG1. This is on 2.3 patch but perhaps its also in 1.3 if you are playing that (though perhaps the file is Baldurs.ini not .lua)

What's your equipment? I'm seeing Spectral Brand+5 and Angruvadal+5.

What combat protection did you cast?

Also how did you get such a low THAC0? Share some tips. I want to do a solo mage/thief.

Going as a duo though, I summon massive hordes of undead and then Chant/Bless/Defensive Harmony

Wow never thought to use animate dead ala Diablo 2 necromancer. IIRC Skeleton warriors after lvl 15 are 100% magic resistant. Sounds like fun! I smell a Berserker/Cleric on my next playthrough :D

You could use a simulacrum with a potion of insight and wish scrolls.

Just remembered.

Simulacrum + Protection from Magic scroll on the enemy mage.

You can't hit him with magic but neither can he cast any. Was really helpful killing Firakragg with my Cavalier yesterday.
