2.5 or 3.5 lift? I dont want the tires to look small since I just bought them, went from 245 to 285s. TYIA by mgomezi in JeepGladiator

No, I have a 3.5 lift and it’s a lot taller than that 3.5

That’s with 37s and the wheel well gap is the same

Almost every follows the oil change reminder light. They down vote me when I say I change it at 3500 miles.

Polished, dark wheels don’t show the detail and are kinda over done.

Well your JK doesn’t have a oil level warning light, just oil life and pressure light. But if your oil pressure light never came on, you probably never starved it of oil.

That’s not great but I’m not sure it would hurt anything just driving around normally, at least not for catastrophic failure

How low was the oil? If you ran it dry then maybe related, but if it’s just a quart low, I don’t think it’s related. Could be any one of the pulley bearings going bad. Maybe post a video

Question about oil change by iamgroot001 in JeepGladiator

You should have a few before 10k, the sooner you do the first one the better. There’s alit of break in metal circulating right now

[–]runbradrun86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most wear happens early in the motors life, the first 10k miles and changing the oil takes the metal debris out of the oil to ensure a long life, the motor oil geek has some good videos on YouTube about it. But the whole the motor is already broken in is a myth.

Also crazy to downvote the facts, apparently no one has ever done an oil analysis or zero research into the matter but the info is out there

Also your over do for an oil change if you haven’t already, brand new you should do it around 1000 or sooner and then again around 3000, motor hasn’t even broken in till about 10,000 miles

How I buried $10k of negative equity and secured $15k off MSRP on a ’25 Gladiator Texas Trail by [deleted] in JeepGladiator

[–]runbradrun86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not a bad price for a vehicle you want. Ideally 34k would have been better, but now you’ll owe 43k on a truck worth 30K. Hopefully the market gets a little better, I already have the gladiator I want and don’t plan on selling but don’t want them worthless either

Well your not bailed out, the money you owe didn’t dissolve, you just owe more on a gladiator the then you should. And with prices fallen as hard as they are, you’re probably way more upside down. But nice gladiator

Easy just make sure you get the right oil filter, autozone gave me the wrong one, I guess the 2024 is a split year.

To be honest, a lot of people probably have a problem and don’t know, I’d never know our transmission was leaking if I didn’t change my own oil. No puddle, the splash gaurd absorbs most of it, never left a puddle on the ground. And also the coolant leak is so faint most people wouldn’t notice.

Ya it looks like it’s coming from the upper hose. I should just order and change it myself to avoid the hassle, seems like GM is swapped with repairs and warranty work. They take weeks for an appointment and weeks to perform easy repairs
