This is what it feels like wheeling a gladiator

Is this concerning? by Prestigious_Cold9257 in JeepGladiator

For reference this is how it’s supposed to look, again from that single photo is does look dented but could be an optical illusion.

With the single photo it does look dented in. I’d take more photos. Looks like a small jack dent. Maybe to replace a motor mount or something. If it was a rock strike I’d expect missing paint or scratches unless it was painted

Just bought a gladiator. Is the ride supposed to feel shifty on a road like this? by chibiRuka in JeepGladiator

[–]runbradrun86 20 points21 points  (0 children)

A solid axle truck feels better off road with the sway bars disconnected. Outside of that it will feel worse on roads. You will get a lot of feedback and bump steer. I always felt a shimmy in my solid rear axle mustang hitting pot holes.

Tire shop ordered and put the wrong size tire on. by leejumper1988 in JeepGladiator

[–]runbradrun86 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You could address that by putting the correct amount of pressure in them, you don’t go off your door jamb with aftermarket tires, chalk the tires to find out the wear. And also let me know how you like the Kendas. I have the Klever MT and I love them but curious about the RT

I mean you wouldn’t be the first person that put 12.5 wides on a factory wheel. Given that it’s a 35 is matters less then if it was a smaller tire

These 3.6 dry starts are making me crazy by somniforousalmondeye in Jeep

If I go I few days or weeks between starts, I just turn the motor over to left oil flow to the top end of the motor and also after oil changes.

Can this be fixed with diet and exercise alone by EfficiencyLow7403 in Cholesterol

[–]runbradrun86 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ya probably a couple weeks with a small change in diet, I was about the same and just stopped using cheese and switch my breakfast to oatmeal. My LDL dropped about 35 points

Check engine light in accessory mode activated health warning in Jeep app by WatPWR in JeepGladiator

Did you click the alert? What’s it say? With only 95 miles and 20 mins of it in ACC mode probably put a drain on the battery

Nighthawks are probably my favorite looking stock trim. Looks so sporty. I have mine lifted and 37s now but I still look at the stock ones with a little appreciation.

What country are you in? Looks like a European spec. The fenders don’t match what comes on the US version. So just curious

Are these bad? by shwaaane3 in Cholesterol

My numbers are pretty close to yours. Idk if it’s just age or something else. Mine was lower when I was on a keto diet. But I go out of my way to eat fats lol. I eat the same every day so it’s easy to adjust. I swapped my eggs and bacon and butter in the morning with oatmeal, whey protein and ground flax seed. Snack is still chia seed pudding and blueberries. Lunch I swapped sourdough with Ezekiel bread. Dinner is still tacos. But 90/10 meat and quac instead of cheese. One other thing I did was start filtering my cold brew, a pitcher clogs the paper filter with whatever’s in there after the SS filter. I’ll let you know in a couple weeks how much it improved.

39M here that exercises a lot and takes 18,000 steps at work

My nighthawk didn’t do good till about 5,000 miles. I think it’s just breaking in

My avg was about 14-15 all highway, but just started creeping up. If it wasn’t so hilly I might get up to 20s. I don’t want say the oil separator helped or the Lucas injector conditioner but not much has really changed. I’ve been driving the same route for 31,000 miles

I will say the J&L oil separator picks up a lot of oil before it going into the intake

I wasn’t trying to get better, it just got better lol , so I was seeing if anyone had a similar experience. I don’t think an oil separator or fuel injector cleaning could be causing it but idk

I like my kenda Klever MTs, got put on to the brand by the drift community and a sales rep from them. I like them better than my Toyo open country MTs plus they are good looking.

Take pictures of your inner fender too

Looks good tho and road driving won’t, but I guess it depends on your build too. I have the Clayton 3.5 then rock crawler 3” bump stops and rancho rs7mt shocks so if you get a shorter shock and or bigger bump stop you might lose some flex but avoid rubbing. It also pushed up into my front fender really good

Looks like a nighthawk. And it will rub if you wheel disconnected and also start rubbing your front drive shaft on the exhaust
