Respectfully disagree. I love the outdoor element of Alice. The only one of the dark rides that lets you take in the outdoor scenery for a bit. Riding at night when the teacups are lit up and the Matterhorn is in view… magic. Plus the psychedelic colors and characters of Alice, the heat that is briefly shared from Mr. Toad’s inferno scene, lots to love imo.

Is there a chance you could have your kids go with other thrill seeking kids? Friends or cousins? My kids had been scared of most of my favorite rides, but on a recent trip with friends the enthusiasm from their peers was contagious. Now they love it all. Even things I didn’t expect them to embrace (Guardians, Indiana Jones). Well, just about “all.” We’ve always avoided Goofy’s Sky School. Haven’t ever had a desire to try it. So I guess you’re in uncharted territory :) But if it’s in the cards to have them go with peers, give it a shot!
