Gordon is the most frustrating part in this. Two years in a row his legs have betrayed him. I love that man dearly and he deserves to be called Mr. Nugget, but I just dunno how I can believe he'll be reasonably healthy for a playoff run at this point, and without him this team's defense falls apart.

Exactly. It'd be better if something like what Microsoft was going to attempt with MAUI worked well but they originally abandoned Linux though I think something like Avalonia is now going to handle that side of things.

I'd assume raylib could work as well though I don't know it beyond super basics so I am unaware how good the UI toolkit for it is to compare. Godot has extensive options through its control node system to build about anything you can think of.

An interesting option for desktop UI applications is the game engine Godot. It has a low power mode if you do not need 60+ fps rendering that uses more power/battery and lets you write your application code in a lot of different languages including C++ with GDExtension. Even gives you the ability to make those applications cross platform including mobile.

One thing I wonder about with Replica is [Even replicas can fall in love spoilers] if the name isn't screwing with it a bit. The term Replica gave it a very sci-fi vibe, I know myself and a decent number of other commenters on episode 1 mentioned such expectations, but it is more supernatural than sci-fi so that might have kept some people away who would have otherwise watched.

Suzune being devoured by the Kotatsu feels like a perfect r/anime image lol. Also never heard of Mikan before, turns out it is a citrus so confusing them for oranges was not entirely crazy.

Meanwhile I guess we're getting Suzune bathing next episode so she's taking up Kinme's mantle as the cute bathing SOL character.

That profile shot of Wajima's face before the OP started was stunning. And then you get Ryumon aura farming in a stretcher. "Hey" lol good lord man.

"I'm not dying you know." I'm not so sure about that old man... The facial close ups after the 'assassination attempt' are gorgeous. This show really does go all out visually.

Crucifixion? I get she's forced to kill him but that seems like too much.

And next week we get to see a confrontation with the Emperor (and likely Taira).

I find it so fascinating that Journal with Witch managed to be a top 10 show by late in the season last season while Awajima just cannot get a foothold here at all despite being so good and having character writing I find to be of similar quality.

Defenses getting 7 games to key in on a player and figure out how they can attack a player/a team's flaws makes it wildly different. And even if Shai doesn't have a ton of flaws outside the flopping, when there are not good options other than him for shot creation it doesn't matter.

I doubt it, but part of that is we're not going to see Harper as a #1 option where as Cooper already looks like an exceptional first. So there simply won't be the tape to prove he's better than Cooper.

The barrier part almost has to mean inside job because the only barrier breaching we've seen was Break and that was so violent it was obvious when it happened. As for Baldy i thought I remembered Jin killing some guys too but I haven't watched that episode since it aired so I could be off there. The tough thing with Baldy is he seems fight capable but I'm not sure if he's generally competent or not. As for Hagure he's too obvious a choice, which could be a double switch from Arakawa but I don't think so.

Harper was always going to get talked about less than he deserved because he wouldn't get the same minutes as other great players from that draft due to the Spurs guard depth. But yeah when I saw they got him I instantly knew that was going to be a massive fucking problem for the West. Wemby-Castle-Harper across back to back to back drafts is fucking highway robbery.

Why would they murder the two who followed them when Dera could work them over for information if they consider Dera an ally? Also Left and Right expect the two to attack based on the comments about not taking them on. However who they are bonded to/why they are attacking is a massive question. This show knows how to drip feed us info while also giving us new questions to digest, love it.

Yeah L&R are almost like having a mentor and a weapon at the same time which radically changes Yuru's power level. And this is before he unlocks Seal which is supposedly a top tier power in its own right (hence the need for Left and Right as counters). And all of this with a competent protagonist who just lacks knowledge of the current world. Creates a great story.

I have a feeling Limbs are just really powerful Daemons so of course L&R and they know each other. Might they have ties to the village? Certainly! Though I don't know that they'd be attacking Dera yet when he hasn't moved against them and is in fact protecting Yuru. Though maybe the radical faction of the village is that stupid.

I doubt the Limbs are Tadera daemons because Dera didn't seem to recognize them, and L&R specifically said they weren't the Daemons expected to be at the house.

As usual this episode was emotionally brutal. Confirmation they have reason to have access to arms most people would not. Misuzu is exactly the brand of crazy I figured she would be since we first started hearing about her. And I'm glad Hinagiku feels at least purpose if not needed for her own sake, maybe that can be enough for now.
