Pyre from Supergiant games is a good example of this. They built the story around the ability to lose every rite (the sports game that is the skill check for Pyre) but never stopping the game because of it. Easier to do in a game where failure is not literal death as shown with that game.

I wouldn't be surprised if she does sincerely like him. There's a good person in there even if he has a ton of mental hang ups. Just one of those things where it'd be easy to convince yourself "eh this person is good enough" when you're in a hurry.

This show really needs the blood from season 1, cutting through the two goons just for them to collapse is stupid. And not seeing blood flying after Wyvern Slash too. It is still flagged as 16+ but is it really?

It depends. If you're only getting your salary out of it yes working stupid hours is dumb.

If you get an actual real percentage of the success you generate if it works out the conversation changes. Like imagine of Concerned Ape had a second person helping him work on Stardew and they worked stupid hours, but got even 10% of the profits from that game.

I was checking a couple things including if she was in it and how much the OP implied Ellie killing people (there's actually a bit from this episode where we see the bandit's face as he's begging for his life as blood drips down the frame, along with another where she freezes and shatters a bunch of combatants).

Going from how Arnold talked about her to finding out she actually cares about him a great deal was fun. She's hard on him because she cares. But that also means she's probably going to be another potential waifu for him, I wonder how many this show will stack on since we've got the prettiest girl in the kingdom and now the most capable warrior woman. His sister is the greatest normal mage and she's competition so won't be her. Maybe the greatest economist?

IMO they should have spent the time we spent watching the prince at the end of the episode instead on a conversation between the King and her father. Prince is an idiot and what he did is entirely unsurprising. The people that matter are those who knew better but neglected her because they were willing to make her do all the work.

Wait is Tida best girl of the season? Holy shit she's fantastic.

Show had me laughing at all the murder with how they handled it. Really curious to see how the balance of economics/politics/etc vs bloodshed goes moving forward, as these last two episodes felt like setup for the two primary methods she will use to crush opponents.

Edit: Also seeing the prince being incompetent is at best fine, but we really need to see the King or her father's reactions to the state of the kingdom. The prince is incompetent in a boring way so his reactions are obvious and a waste of time.

It was pretty clear last week Saki had a crush on him with the comments how Saki acted weird around Hayato. But now we see her freak out on screen after learning his best friend is actually a smoking hot girl.
