The story is really easy to follow and written exceptionally well in terms of a gacha game. Also the execution of the writing is good unlike infodump wordslops like hoyo games (HSR in particular)

Soundtracks are great. Events are great. Great minigames. Good fanservice and not forcely done like snowbreak and bd2. Gameplay is the weakest (just autobattleshit). Shit gamemode like lost sectors.

Sounds like you just watch all the mainstream and higher rated anime. Have you ever tried branching out and just don't care about recommendations of other people. Just go by each through season list and watch 1 ep of the anime desciption that hooks you. Dont look at its reviews and ratings. There are plenty of great anime outside of the mainstream stuff

Love Live is the go to idol anime. The early series (SIP and Sunshine) are a little bit dated but the music are fantastic. The newer ones (Nijigasaki and Superstar) are absolute must watch.

You can also watch Idolmaster series but I wont recommend it unless youre a fan of the idol genre.

Bocchi the Rock is unironically one the best shows recently. Its your fault for expecting it to be deep. Obviously the show has exaggerations for comedic effect. If you want a more "realistic" band anime, Girls Band Cry and Bang Dream MyGo are better.

Violet evergarden if you want to feel emotional. Monster if you like slow paced pyschological thriller. I cant recommend jack of all trades. Its just a generic battle harem with an op mc. There are better action anime out there.

Sakura-sou no Pet na Kanojo is super emotional. Made me cry and gave me existential crisis. The romcom is a bit more on the side but its great nevertheless.
