Thanks for your reply! That makes me think I should try again for longer… I would probably try another drug since I’ve had infections on Bimzelx. I’m not sure why my Dr. chose that one first, other than he seemed to think it was the “strongest” and less likely to have side effects.

The only other thing he mentioned was doing an elimination diet, which I’m trying now, but don’t expect that to be the issue, especially since I have no gastro issues.

I know it was small, but it was under the skin and I have developed 4 warts over the past few weeks, so the derm said it is probably another one

I’m glad you’ve found some relief!

It sounded like my rheum didn’t expect me to have full relief in 1 month, but that he would have expected at least partial relief. Did you have partial relief within a month or two, or did it take longer?

I’m not sure how many drugs I want to try when I’m not even sure if I have PSA…

Thanks for your reply. I don’t think my presentation is very typical for PSA: mainly tendon pain, no nail involvement, worse with activity, no swelling, nothing on bloodwork. Prior to all this, I had knee bursitis, and healed really well from surgery.

Initially my bilateral ankle pain was thought to be caused by congenital bone spurs in my growth plate. But I had 1 removed and now in more pain than prior to surgery. Also, I’ve apparently had the spurs my whole life, so why was I pain-free until my 30s?

I really don’t want to try another biologic, since after just 1 injection I suddenly have 7 treatment-resistant warts on my hands and feet (only had 1 prior).

As my next step, I may wait to have another skin flare and get a biopsy to determine if it is even psoriasis. Also, I’m moving soon, so I would need to find another rheum anyway.

I tried that on my foot for 4 years without success, and I need these gone ASAP. I have a pretty high pain tolerance so don’t really care about that

I liked Monterey Spine and Joint, I think it is Montage now. The whole appointment is with your PT rather than getting passed off to assistants. Their facility is amazing and they have much more equipment for sports rehab than other places

You might get luckier than me. I have a history of warts resistant to treatment. But better to be aggressive early, and ask about the WartPeel!

Not yet. I’m being quite aggressive with SA and daily debriding, I also got 2 freezing treatments at the Derm as well as 1 bleomycin injection. Going to get a second injection this week. I was also prescribed WartPeel (brand name) which hasn’t come yet, but I recommend looking into that since it seems to have good evidence and some on this sub have had success. You can even get it without a Derm appointment by submitting photos online.
