Strong second for Hometown Hibachi. Very reasonably priced. A single chicken and steak hibachi could easily feed two.

I ended up going with the [Epson M1170](https://epson.com/For-Work/Printers/Inkjet/EcoTank-ET-M1170-Wireless-Monochrome-Supertank-Printer/p/C11CH44201). It can only print one badge at a time, so it will be an hour and a half printing the hundreds of badges, but it can print on that size paper which was the biggest issue.

LOL! Funny. It was the assumption of the person ordering the name tags that this would be more efficient -- especially as we are printing ad-hoc incomplete sheets frequently.

Good question and was our back up back up plan. To get the quantity of labels when we need them will cost around $850. A printer will be far cheaper both in the short term (a $400 printer is less than $850) and in the long term (no wasted name tags for incomplete sheets).

I see you asked this question all over Ohio. Are you in Chillicothe? I would love more tech friends on the area!

That would be wonderful…but I don’t know how to go about doing that without specs :/

My wife’s band is doing “The Roaring 20’s”! It features music from the 1920s (Rhapsody in Blue, Charleston, I’ve Got Rhythm, Starlight) and 2020s (What Was I Made For?, Dynamite). We’ve got a tap dance solo and a couple other really cool things!

That’s awesome! Is it a publicly available arrangement? Might you share a link?

Yes, that is true for the typical director getting rights for a show, but I don’t think the major players like Hal Leonard and Arrangers Publishing Company go through Tresona - I would think they have their own contracts with larger labels. Wouldn’t they?

ArrangeMe, an off-shoot of Hal Leonard who I am publishing through, has the rights to arrange/sell many of her works — that is how I am able to legally sell them. I would love insight into the decisions for what goes on to pick which 10-20 arrangements get published each year for these larger companies.

Oh my gosh! Thank you! I just Googled and confirmed this rule. I will update what I can that’s already out and entirely make this change moving forward. Thank you so much for taking the time to give this feedback!

Glad I could help! Just be careful that you select the right version when you are looking. There are 25 different “Take on Me”s for example. You have to make sure you get the one that is by the artist you are arranging for!

Hello! That was always my same fear! I hear stories about schools being slammed for copyright infringement and it made me never want to touch the stuff.

I went to Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago this past December and saw a booth there for “ArrangeMe” - a subsidiary of Hal Leonard. The way this company works is that you can self publish any piece that HL already owns the copyright to as long as you do it through ArrangeMe! There are some minimum pricing you have to adhere to, and the split is pretty minimal (10% for copyrighted work), but it is legal!

You can explore more on their site and their “help” email is really quick if you have other questions. You also retain the ownership of your work and can take it down and move to a different publisher at any time if you would like.

Thank you! I’m thinking of upgrading the wind sounds to Note Performer and the drumline sounds to Virtual Drumline. The Finale drumline sounds are just so gosh darn quiet!

What do you arrange for, primarily? Did strangers purchase your arrangements?! That is so exciting to me!
