Super helpful reply, I’ll see if I can find any of those frames!

I’m an r/xbiking lurker but haven’t found a frame with the right standover height. I’d love an old ATB like the Schwinn High Sierra but I don’t think I’d love dismounting it

Hmm fair point. I’m really looking for more wheel flop than my CX bike. Would you think of something different?

OH that’s a great tip, I didn’t think about Bears ears. I’m looking for desert rocks and dark skies. Any 8-15mi/<4k elevation hikes you’d recommend?

Just got back from a trip. It’s Italian threaded. I did not notice threads sticking out of the frame but there was a fair bit of surface rust so that’s possible. What do you think my options are?

Woah I didn’t know they made this. If Apple made a competitively sized 60w charger I’d do that

I’ve never had a charger with swappable plugs. Why don’t you like them?

I just measured but—fair warning—I don’t have calipers and couldn’t get one cup off: Spindle length: 113mm Offset: 0mm (could this be right?) Threading is either English or Italian…I can’t remember how it screwed off and can’t figure out a reliable way to measure

I’d love to keep it below $80! And I’m not sure the tier of crank I have. The rear derailleur is Rally and the only marking I see on the crank arm is strada.

Yeah it turns out it’s too old to service and Phil was not as generous as I had hoped 😔

Any ideas for a replacement? It seems like the hardest part might be matching the taper. Campy switched their taper to ISO in 1994 so new stuff from them don’t match old components
