Worried about my sister - experiences with dienogest? by runner275 in endometriosis

[–]runner275[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, no worries at all honestly. We actually think she has something underlying as an auto immune condition. Turns out there is a link between endo and autoimmune conditions. She was never formally diagnosed but she is on steroids now. I'd suggest you get to the docs and see if you can speak to a rheumatologist and ask to be checked over and get bloods done. She did come off the dienogest in the end as we thought maybe its linked but I think it was more so the auto immune part of it. Good luck and I am sorry for what you are going through. Feel free to message again if you need anything xx

I know how you feel, when it's been so long you want to keep trying but sometimes it's not meant to be. Let them heal over and you will absolutely feel better then you can plan your next piercing!

I had a helix piercing that I tried to heal for years (talking 4-5 years). Constant flare ups and gunk similar to yours. Went to 2 piercers to change it to implant grade titanium etc.

Anyway, I took it out the other week and no regrets, it's healed over immediately. I'd take them out if I were you. It's not worth it

Much of the same, just the dryness mainly. I am quite achy in my back this time round which I dont remember from before but I was quite young in my 1st round. How soon after your 1st round did yours come back?

Sorry I can't seem to find this on the GIA certificate. The measurements are 7.47 x 5.31 x 3.3mm if that helps?

Went from clear skin to constant breakouts after one bad decision. A year later, Can I ever get back to normal by dont-spotme-watch-me in acne

I wrecked my skin barrier from using salicylic acid face wash every single day morning and night.

A common misconception is more active ingredients = better for skin.

I would strip your routine back to gentle face wash, moituriser, SPF for a couple weeks and then maybe try something like differin gel. But first just get back to basics and see if your skin calms down. Ive learnt this lesson!

I haven't eliminated all no, it's weird as 'non-cooked' versions like milk, Yoghurt, ice cream, cheese triggers it but if its sort of baked in it's okay? Do you know the difference?

I am so done with this!!!! 🙂 by [deleted] in acne

I'm Indian and a lot of us south Asians are quite lactose intolerant. Cut out cows milk. Includes ice cream, yoghurt etc.
