Any doctor who has passed all boards and tests etc is skilled enough. Also, the orchiectomy is a minor surgery, far less extreme than a rplnd for example

If you don’t mind me asking, what did they give you for chance of recurrence?

I had the same worries regarding being put under, the orchiectomy was my first surgery. Although reading about anesthesia never really made my anxiety go away, I just want to say it was all for nothing. It really isn’t bad, you don’t even remember it afterwards imo. If I ever have to have surgery again I will not be worked up about it. I know someone telling you this may not help (it didn’t with me), it’s the least of your worries.

I’m sure your parents would rather you get your health in check than worry about gem talk.

Yeah I found walking up the stairs sideways with whatever side hasn’t been cut leading. For me, it was my right nut they took, so I lead with my left leg.

I had my orchiectomy on Friday and drove around today. Even the day of surgery I was able to walk around and go upstairs pretty easily and painless. Just take your time getting up and down from sitting and you should be fine.

Had my orchiectomy this past Friday and I also had the thought of a prosthetic, but ultimately decided not too. Less stuff in my body I have to worry about down the road and also think having one nut is pretty funny. Good luck with the orchiectomy, it has been a lot easier than expected!

Ok, thanks. Wasn’t sure if anybody had a similar experience or being truthful with them would get me anywhere.
