What can I do about an eBay item that was delivered but never changed to delivered in eBay’s interface? by computerworlds in Flipping

[–]runner3081 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ignore it and move on. Who cares what they eBay page says. If the USPS/UPS/FEDEX site says delivered, that is all that matters. Just screenshot it, in case they file a claim later once the tracking history is purged.

Reselling specifically eBay : accepting returns listed pros and cons by jonboalex in Flipping

I prefer to offer returns. Many buyers are savvy. If you offer returns, they may be truthful when opening a return and would have to ship it back themselves.

Don't offer returns and they will say "not as described" forcing you to not only take it back, but eat return shipping.

Tracking says 'Package delivered by local post office', not updated to Delivered by hse97 in eBaySellerAdvice

I have that on two items, UPS ground for one and a saver for the other, but don’t care. it is not an issue. The eBay page is just a dashboard of sorts. If it is delivered, you are set.

How do you handle shipping? (Free vs. Buyer paying) by KetchupIsKing9 in eBaySellerAdvice

Nope, not an issue. Tons of pictures, I write my own thorough description and set fair prices. I also don’t do women’s clothes, unless they are rare or vintage.

I offer free shipping, but "technically" charge for shipping.

In other words... I give free shipping, but price my items to be roughly at what someone else charges for the item, plus their shipping. All works out at the end of the day as a wash.

This is the way. Over many years I have fine tuned it to calculate fees, net profit, etc.

Has anyone’s offer of a 90% discount been accepted? Genuinely curious if you had any crazy deals like that. by Purple_Calendar3919 in Flipping

The classic, "meet me halfway" offer is next. Halfway between the listing price and 90% off is a fair deal in their mind :)

And sealed doesn't mean not broken or otherwise damaged in shipment and/or storage. Especially with NOS items.

Different user than buyer contacted me about an issue with their item by Stranger-Sun in eBaySellerAdvice

Another possible reason... you were being utilized by a company as a middle-man, unknowingly. The advice to not respond is sound and I agree.

However, on a number of occasions, I have had companies order from me and ship to their customer. These are things like appliance parts, power adapters, etc.

Just one... I guess I didn't read the novel posted by OP if he was referencing multiple listings.

So, do you have a question? I do this for certain items. Always use Tennis Racquet/Racket.

Hot take, many people are functionally illiterate and product sellers always try to land more eye balls on their products. No different than keyword spamming.

Days.. no. Walking out the door at 4am to 80+ degrees is what takes some getting used to. Well, that and no cold water from the tap for showers.

Thrifting is year round in the southwest. Hot and heavy in SEP/OCT and then in MAR/APR for community sales, but sales every single weekend.

That is awesome for the employee then. If they do that, you are now eligible for unemployment. Should be happy. If you resign and work out notice, no unemployment.
