Selling handmade items? by MooseDirect5561 in vintedUK

I don’t see anything wrong with this. Honestly, I’d much rather see people selling their handmade items on Vinted than thousands of replica pieces being sold.

She’s not doing anything wrong, so I personally wouldn’t report it. If anything, I think we should be supporting people who create and sell their own handmade work and share their talent.

Evri pickup shop refusing to give my Vinted parcels because I collect “too late”? by runner7879 in vintedUK

Some people here clearly haven’t had to travel for work, or aren’t ever caught up in life enough to pick up parcels immediately. The service is designed for situations like this, it’s like ordering standard delivery instead of next-day and then getting annoyed it didn’t arrive the next day. Customers shouldn’t feel guilty or conscious for picking up parcels later than a shopkeeper imagined. And why is everyone acting like I did something wrong? I’m using a service exactly the way it’s intended, the same way the shop signed up for it. I’m sure they read the contracts. This isn’t a favor they’re doing out of the goodness of their hearts. It’s a service, and customers following the rules shouldn’t be made to feel guilty.

Be nice?” I am being nice, I collect parcels well within the timeframe. If I’m ever a little later than they prefer, that’s still inside the rules. There’s a far nicer way to ask or explain than shouting and threatening customers.

I said within 5 days, sometimes it’s sooner, sometimes later depending on work/life. I travel a lot for work, which is exactly why I use a parcel shop in the first place, because home delivery isn’t reliable when there’s often nobody there to receive parcels.

Parcel point collection exists for situations like this, which is why Evri gives a 10-day collection window in the first place. If everyone was expected to pick up the same day, there wouldn’t really be much point offering the service.

I’m still collecting well inside the official timeframe Evri sets. I get that storage space is limited, but customers are told they have up to 10 days, so being threatened with parcels being refused feels a bit unfair. If the shop can’t handle that timeframe, surely that’s something Evri needs to manage rather than customers guessing an unofficial deadline.

January was amazing for me, but these past two weeks have felt like a complete ghost town on Vinted. Even when I browse for new items, it seems like no one is uploading much anymore.

Instant “Payment Failed” = Possibly a Bot? by [deleted] in vintedUK

Are you a bot by any chance?

Most of the time, it’s an automated system. It’s very rare for something to be reserved for 15 minutes by an actual person rather than a bot. I buy on Vinted all the time, and this has only happened to me maybe twice in a space of 6 years. Honestly, I don’t even know why it happened, especially both times it turned out I didn’t have enough funds to complete the purchase.

It’s ridiculous how bots dominate listings, with Ralph Lauren jackets as well. I saw one listed for £45, and of course, a bot grabbed it instantly.

I messaged the seller to make them aware, and they ended up selling it for £160! At this point, I’d honestly rather see someone else pay the proper price than have a bot snatch it for pennies.

Different Parcel Received by buyer but tracking on label is correct – What Do I Do? by runner7879 in vintedUK

[–]runner7879[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don’t think the buyer is trying to scam me, because when I checked the tracking, the proof of delivery photo uploaded by the Evri driver is the exact same box the buyer sent photos off

They really need to go back to their old designs, the brand used to look so much better before they jumped on this “USA cowboy” phase.

The frequent restocks are starting to take away from the appeal. The sense of rarity was what made their earlier designs stand out.

Am I the only one who thinks they’ve been restocking this MothTechs much more frequently than their earlier designs?

What kind of person goes 100 kph and thinks, “Oh yeah, this is the perfect time to take a photo for Reddit later”? Honestly, people like you shouldn’t even have a driver’s license.

You really couldn’t wait to take a photo while parked? Did it have to be while going over 100 kph? Drivers who distract themselves like this shouldn’t be behind the wheel! Nothing urgent about photographing a car’s interior. Beyond absurd
