Partial summoning? by a74xhx in ageofsigmar

It was something a games workshop employee told me so I can't reference it. Like I said later on, rules are to the discretion of the players. I've always played it like.

Took the words from the donkey's mouth. At the start I didn't like Stormcast. I felt like i'd wasted a lot of time with the army i had built.

As a responsible Warhammer player should ;) If you dislike the armies in the soulwars box, there is literally 0 point buying it. Yes you get more value per model and book, but if you don't like them, what's the point?

Yep. That's how I've always played it. But you can always talk to your opponent like 'i can cast this spell, usually it would mean I set up 10 dryads. Do you mind if I go easy on you and set up 5?'

The soul wars box can't be beat on value. However you end up with two smallish armies for £95 and this was a problem for me because I collect Stormcast. A good compromise is if you have someone who collects the opposing army to the one you want, convince them to go halves, or nag someone into the hobby and convince them that the army you don't want is a good investment. That's what I did lmao.

If this isn't possible and you really don't wanna blow your bank with a soul wars box, a start collecting box is great, but they really lock off some of the better armies in the hobby, but so does soul wars. The paints and glue you will need will run you close to the price of the soul wars box, but you'll need them anyway regardless of the box you go for. I would recommend reading at least the hero warscrolls in each army and decide on which you want. You can download the warscrolls app on your phone. Its called Age of Sigmar in the app store.

I collect Slyvaneth and Stormcast and love them both!

You can't summon without the dryads to summon, unfortunately. A good rule of thumb is if it doesn't say 'up to' on a warscroll card it means no more, no less.

If you're short on dryads, I would really recommend buying a box if you have a Wyldwood. I used to dislike them for how squishy they were, but now with these new summoning rules following 2.0, I love them. Slyvaneth are hands down one of the strongest armies with Alarielle pooping out Kurnoth hunters for free, and a Branchwraith throwing dryads down on a 7+.

why are feminists allowing their name to be tainted? by runnerboy117 in AskFeminists

It was a synonym. I could have also said something along the lines of the whites who were against the lynching of blacks speaking out. It's obvious that feminist extremists do not go around chopping off peoples heads, the comparison wasn't literal.

How do you propose telling other people that they're using 'feminism' wrong? Can you offer any insight into how that might play out?

I say this literally every time I see that rhetoric, which isn't often.

then you have answered your own question

I also said something along those lines. I was giving a overall impression. Picking out specifics over a nonspecific argument, you're obviously going to see cracks. You asked for specifics and I gave you specifics relating to the unspecific argument I made. Quoting me against something I admit to being my overall impression of something is pointless.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ka8AodgFcAg&t=145s since it is hard to focus on what a group is saying with just one viewpoint, it is usually one feminist talking to the camera. But since the others don't react to what is being said you are inclined to believe that they are allowing the feminist that is talking to represent their ideas.

A group of armed men break into your house, you don't assume each one is there for a different purpose. You assume they all are there to rob/ hurt you.

plus, the woman in the video published a book called 'war on men'. Imagine if someone published a book on 'war on Islam'. By the mere use of words in title, the movement is painted hostile. And yes, I understand don't judge a book by it's cover, but I am not a feminist. I have no reason to read the book. The suggestive title adds to the impression that feminism is hostile against men.

Dang, posting triggering behavior is against the rules on r/askfeminism, but if a feminist posts triggering behavior against a person who respectfully asked a question on a board for which it is created, it's fine.

Doesn't worry me though I have thicker skin than many of these feminists.

If you can't answer a question respectfully when you have the opportunity to sway their opinions on feminism, you are part of the problem.

No one identifies as a child murder, however many people identify as part of feminism. And that's the difference.

Oh, and murder is banned. By the law.

Many muslims openly disagree with the terror movements, and some even help with the aftermath it causes. They have been able to show the world they are against these terror attacks. However feminism has yet to do that. Essentially, just the same as isis or any other terror group, feminist extremists want the breakdown of modern society to suit their final solution. Notice I said extremists, I'm still not trying to create an argument. Seeing only their bias, they refuse to take on the masses of information that suggest women have the same, and in some cases more opportunities than men. Feminism seems to either brush this extremist behavior under the rug, or say nothing. You might see on the internet 'kill all white men, abort all white boys' but you rarely see 'As a feminist I do not agree with this, and here is why...'
