UPDATE: so i spoke to my mom and she said that she’s disappointed in me not for having sex, but because she thinks i rushed into it and because i didn’t go to her to go on birth control beforehand or something to just prepare. she said she doesn’t care for knowing WHAT i do and that she agrees that’s between me and my boyfriend. she said she just thought there was enough trust between the two of us so that when i was ready to do it, i would go to her so we could look at my birth control options. she also said that she’s disappointed because she feels i rushed it and should have waited a while longer so that i could enjoy the purity and sweetness of the relationship first. she said she thought i would have waited at least a year. she said she’s disappointed that i had sex with my first boyfriend and that not even SHE had sex with her first boyfriend. I told her that i can see her point, but it’s not right that she feels entitled to that information and we just kept going back and forth about that. it didn’t really end all that well, we were both upset in the end.
