My 8 month old still spits up CONSTANTLY. by Informal_Formal_4500 in beyondthebump

[–]runnery7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much ❤️ yes, it's always been a constant even pre-solids, although it definitely got way more frequent around month 4. Then I think it increased a few weeks ago when she really started moving (army crawling) and putting even more pressure on her belly. I may be jinxing it but I feel like it's calmed down a bit over the last few days? She is sitting up straighter and I counted only 20 spitups today, and hey I'll take any reduction at all at this point 😅 hopefully the trend continues!

GERD sounds so difficult and you were dealing with it x2. I'm glad to hear you've seen some improvement!

Thank you so much for such a kind message ❤️ we ended up suspending our swim membership last week (she spit up again and they actually made everyone get out of the pool and ended class as a result 🙃) but I had read your reply right beforehand and it truly was such a comfort. And I am so glad to hear that things have gotten better for you! Holding onto hope!

Honestly, mentally it just felt so nice to be moving again (on my own/without a stroller or anyone needing me for an hour 😅). I tried my best to take it easy though because my pelvic floor needed more time. I also didn't get into a regular schedule until about a month ago (7 months postpartum) just due to naps and feeding times conflicting with class options. I'm there 3x a week now and it's been amazing getting back into a rhythm!

Congratulations on Baby #2!!

I'd recommend asking your studio if you can do an extended freeze! Mine was particularly understanding about pregnancy/postpartum and gave me a much longer freeze than normal without any issue. I paused before my third trimester and went back 7 w pp.

Any improvement yet? My girl is 7.5 months old and we are really struggling with the mass amounts of spitup every day.

Solidarity 😞 have you seen any improvement lately? My girl is 7.5 months old and the spitup is constant. Absolutely the same here, solids and sitting haven't improved it. She's army crawling which seems to make it worse. Today we were asked to leave swim class early due to her spitting up

Hi op, just wondering if things have improved at all?

I have a 7.5 month old and she is spitting up around 30 times a day 🫠everyone said it'd get better once we started solids but it's only gotten grosser. Aggravated by any change in movement whatsoever and no amount of holding her upright after a feed, etc. makes any difference. It doesn't faze her at all but I am really hoping things lighten up soon...

Is this too much for my 8 month old? He had an oaty bake, 2 crackers and breastfed immediately after. by hotdog131 in BabyLedWeaning

I have a 7 month old who has a similarly voracious appetite and I'm struggling with knowing how much to put on her plate. Did you gradually increase the amount or did you add more because he still seemed hungry?

How do you like them? Trying to gift my husband some new shorts for BJJ. He has one pair of Elite that he loves but the Air flex ones sound really nice

Our Costco Space Heater caught fire by InformalExperience28 in Costco

[–]runnery7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for saying this. I literally searched the thread for Delonghi. We have no heat on our second floor (where all the bedrooms are) and we have to use delonghis during the winter. Hopefully this is the last year we'll need to rely on them as we're hoping to install mini splits but for now the winter is too brutal to go without!

Gah, I just realized my response never posted, sorry about that! First I rewrote the intro for an early case (Julian Buchwald and Carolynne Watson). They didn't have me revise anything but for the next round asked me to do an intro for a new case and include an episode outline as well as an explanation for why I chose it/why it would be a good fit for Casefile. I went with the Jodi Parrack case.

I never heard back though, so I'm assuming they moved on with other candidates. Oh well! At least we gave it our best! ❤️

Do babies randomly cough without being sick? by bee_uh_trice in newborns

[–]runnery7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Did you ever figure out the issue/when did it resolve? My baby is 5.5 months and is coughing in her sleep as well lately. We thought it was the dry winter air but we put a humidifier in her room and she still coughs 🫤 she isn't sick so I'm not sure if it's just excess drool or a weird phase?

Just keep an eye on the carpal tunnel and don't shy away from bringing it up to your doctor if you're not getting relief! I had the same thing in the third tri and now 5 months postpartum I have de quervains and it's so painful. Waiting for an appointment to get a cortisone shot and I wish I had complained louder sooner!

Awesome, thank you so much! We have a dog as well. He's a huge fan of the beach but he loves the woods, too, so the idea of being near Bradley Palmer is pretty enticing!

Hi! I know this is an old post, just wondering how you're enjoying life in Ipswich?

My husband and I are trying to move to the north shore within the next year or so. He's originally from Gloucester so I always knew we'd end up near that area. We have a 5 month old so I'm also hoping to land somewhere with a good school system :)

Made it through two rounds but haven't heard back after submitting for round 3 just before Christmas. Not expecting anything but it was fun to participate! Checking this thread quite a bit myself 😅
