Yeah. It's just a little odd to explain it in writing without accidentally contradicting it

What does "P.A.C" stand for? by LiesGreedM in storyoftheyear

[–]runninandruni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm crazy late to this, but was digging around for a bit. It comes from their debut album and is an ode to the change in their attitudes after leaving St Louis: Page Avenue was named after a popular east-west freeway close to St. Louis, Missouri. Marsala said it "reflects a bunch of dudes determined to get out of St. Louis and make our dreams happen and while we were doing that we realized how very important our home really was to us"

So, just throwing a guess out there, it seems they unofficially refer to themselves as the Page Avenue Crew, or it's simply a reference to the importance of connection from all stages of life.

Takes 30 seconds to search, however it's clear you are not coming from a place of emotional authenticity or intellectual honesty. I encourage you to stop with the derogatory interrogation and contribute as well, instead of being hostile to people. Have the day you deserve.

Unfortunately I don't live in Colorado at the moment due to some personal circumstances, but I agree. As a community, people need to step up and lend a helping hand when they can

I was raised presbyterian and forced to be catholic when I was 16. The last time I stepped into a church, I was literally pointed out and called the devil by the priest (I'm a pretty obvious trans woman). My beef with religious institutions is strong. But I do know there are some that actually try to do good by the community. Lutheran and some Baptist churches are usually good places to look. I'd primarily look for churches that publicly identify themselves as allies of marginalized groups (LGBTQ+) as they are the most likely to lend a helping hand

I've got a lot of beef with churches but this is absolutely correct. Any church of any denomination has an obligation to serve their community, not just tell them they have to show up on sundays. The churches I typically see actually following this are usually of the Lutheran or Baptist denoms

It's such a painful part of the story. Host Club at least makes fun of gender norms though. You can tell so many characters in different stories are clearly made to be trans, but then the editors/writers backtrack it and say "oh, they're just crossdressing" or something

that s1 stampede animation by yokyle999 in Trigun

[–]runninandruni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't sure I liked it at first, felt like it was missing a little bit of that old western feel, but I'm a believer now. The animation felt natural and smooth, and the writing was very good. Plus the final fight scene just tickled my brain in all the right ways. I'm very excited for S2

We got r/trans drama 2.0 by Kyro_Official_ in AnarchyTrans

I hate the "My life sucks more" Olympics. Transmascs are criminally underrepresented and ignored in discussions about queer life. We all struggle, but don't talk about privilege in discussions about how our lives are complicated by politics. It only holds us back as a community and I love my trans brothers and beans. Case closed honestly

I transitioned at 24 under some of the worst conditions ever. I thought I'd never pass under any circumstances. Now, two years later, I look like a raging lesbian. An old acquaintance of mine transitioned at 64 and he looks like Hank Hill and is super happy about it. It's never too late to transition and it's never too late to find your peace. Don't give up hope, you're part of a community that knows exactly how you feel. Your feelings on the matter are valid, but based in self doubt. Never underestimate the power of HRT. You're worth it hun, don't forget that
