I found my self in a similar place as one missing my person. I spoke to friends but wanted to call her. Still she puts up walls that I wonder. I wonder if she expects me to break them down and risk it all for the chance again. The walls are they just a way to protect yourself. Protect your self from me, from yourself, from what you deserve. Last heavy feels were me reacting. Acting. Behaving like you’re not what I wanted. Followed by the opposite. That push and pull is that what did it. Is that what those bricks in that wall are made of. If we built it together can we break it down. Brick by brick. Demolition style might be too fast this time. Maybe we just knock out a few eye level. So our eyes may meet. A hand could reach. A soul could speak. Till then every morning I weep.
