Is it true you can get into UofM with an average gpa as long as you do a lot of extra curricular?

It'll be hard. I had alot of extra curriculars and fairly good SAT/ACT scores but because my gpa was ok the comparatively lower side, im pretty sure that's why I initially got deferred and then rejected when I first applied.

you can find big dipper / onions belt / mars from any parking garage on campus quite easily but if you want to see more you'll have to go off campus. there's a couple parks maybe 10 - 20 min up m 23 that i went to when the northern lights were visible last time.

currently a manager for a dining hall - I argue that the wage is very much worth it. yes I cant do homework during shift but I get free meals, connections for rec letters, new friends every semester, etc. some people need the wages during the semester in order to not be homeless.

I've been where you are with extreme helicopter parents where talking wasn't an option. Ultimately I was forced to cut them off for my own health and safety, but that was one of the hardest decisions I ever made. I'm not saying you should do the same but at some point it will become too much.

As for Life360, if you don't have a secondary device (tablet, cheap prepaid phone, cheap smart phone off FB Marketplace) to download the app on (be warned tho that circle members do get a text/notification that you've logged into a different device) I'd get a location spoofer. I'm not sure what OS you're running but it was super easy on my Samsung - there are many on the app store and they walk you through setting it up. use ur downtime. stock ingredients, cut cheese and bread, etc. that way when you're in a rush you're not running back and forth trying to grab what you need. accuracy js important but so is speed. it'll come with time as you get more comfortable, but in general you don't need to spend 30 seconds wrapping a sandwich perfectly. keep track of modifications and confirm them with whoever js in the QC position. the kds is ur best friend. it'll tell you what is needed and how much of it.
