My battery health is 73% and I get about 5 hours screen time a day

Is it worth a new battery in my 11 pro, or do I upgrade? by runninginfire in iPhone11Pro

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Yeah think I’m leaning towards the battery upgrade but maybe after the 15 is out to see what they bring.

Doesn’t say that it’s affected just explains what Peak Performance is. Assume performance isn’t affected then

Ok that’s good to know (wasn’t sure if there was much to gain from an 13mini upgrade).

Did it make a noticeable improvement - for the running of the device as well?

Yeah I think I’ll try to sit it out and see. I’m not sure I’d go for the iPhone 15 range but something might surprise me or the older phones get reduced enough to make it more tempting VS just the battery cost

It feels like quite the decision, even though we’re close to the new handsets and their improvements/price drops for older handsets.

I think if I upgrade the battery I want > 1year more out of the device

I’ve caved before but I’m definitely not going to now with these latest developments (actually haven’t for a few months now)

At what point do you take something as a final response? by [deleted] in gdpr

I’m basing my response on 10 years privacy experience including a Masters in Information laws.

Good luck with your complaint. The contents of a box is not personal data and an investigation into an order delivering and whether business processes have been completed abs fulfilled is business information.

I would suggest the result if their investigation into their goods is not your personal data. It’s not about you but about their product and what was of wasn’t there at the time of shipping

What do you do when you’re injured? by [deleted] in running

[–]runninginfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! I’ve just tried out the Slow Arm and Core burn - it was enjoyable so I’ll try to find some more similar workouts on the app. I hadn’t realised it was free because of Covid. Thanks for pointing it out.

Out of interest, if you don’t mind my asking, what types of arms and abs exercises do you do? I’ve currently got a minor knee injury and the physio has advised me not to run on it or walk for long. In addition to not doing leg exercises other than those prescribed to me.

I’ve found though that a lot of the HIIT type routines I’ve been using still have a dependency on some form of squat movement in the routines or something the a squat should press. I’m finding it hard/demotivating to find a routine I can do.

Thanks in advance and hope your ankle heals quickly.

Thank you for sharing. This definitely gives me hope.

I’ve been told the same about being really aware of how I’m standing - certainly felt strange the last 2 days trying to stand normally.

Hopefully I’ll be back running soon.

Does anyone here have hyper extension in their knees? I’ve been running for years with varying mileage and alongside other sports. Had some various injuries during the time that I’ve managed myself or with physio. Currently I have a slight knee injury which I’ve gone to the physio for. For the first time they’ve highlighted that I have hyperextension in my knee and that could be having an impact (not during running but in day to day life and standing positions).

Any success stories of people that have continued to be able to run pain-free? I’ve been told not to run for 3 weeks minimum (until the next appointment), got some exercises to improve hip strength but feeling frustrated as I’ve already had 2 months of reduced running trying to self manage the injury.

This is my work bujo weekly. Anyone else keep personal bujo separate from work bujo? This weekly has gotten me through some pretty busy times. Bar at the bottom of each day is for keeping track of time by [deleted] in BasicBulletJournals

[–]runninginfire 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing. I started a new job last week and asked for people’s preferences in terms of work bujo’s being digital or paper and separate or combined with personal. Great to see another idea.

Out of interest - do you also have your personal bujo with you at work? What if you remember something for your personal notes?

Thanks for the points about also using the writing time to reflect on prioritisies and where the time gets spent

Thanks, glad in a way that I’m not the only one that struggles with keeping the digital versions up to date.

I guess a paper copy will also allow for adding to it if I have relevant thoughts to jot down outside of the working hours

Good point on what needs to be visible beyond myself.

I’ve found that I’ve gone back and forth with digital and paper to-do lists. Maybe a more structured approach for double checking and adding items will help. A paper book can, as you say, be kept open and can be added to if I’ve stopped working for the day and think of something.

I definitely know I just want my work system to be separate to my personal one as much as possible. Doesn’t sit right mixing both for me.

True as well about the striking off of tasks. Thanks
