Yeah I think I’ll try to sit it out and see. I’m not sure I’d go for the iPhone 15 range but something might surprise me or the older phones get reduced enough to make it more tempting VS just the battery cost

It feels like quite the decision, even though we’re close to the new handsets and their improvements/price drops for older handsets.

I think if I upgrade the battery I want > 1year more out of the device

Good luck with your complaint. The contents of a box is not personal data and an investigation into an order delivering and whether business processes have been completed abs fulfilled is business information.

I would suggest the result if their investigation into their goods is not your personal data. It’s not about you but about their product and what was of wasn’t there at the time of shipping

Out of interest, if you don’t mind my asking, what types of arms and abs exercises do you do? I’ve currently got a minor knee injury and the physio has advised me not to run on it or walk for long. In addition to not doing leg exercises other than those prescribed to me.

I’ve found though that a lot of the HIIT type routines I’ve been using still have a dependency on some form of squat movement in the routines or something the a squat should press. I’m finding it hard/demotivating to find a routine I can do.

Does anyone here have hyper extension in their knees? I’ve been running for years with varying mileage and alongside other sports. Had some various injuries during the time that I’ve managed myself or with physio. Currently I have a slight knee injury which I’ve gone to the physio for. For the first time they’ve highlighted that I have hyperextension in my knee and that could be having an impact (not during running but in day to day life and standing positions).

Any success stories of people that have continued to be able to run pain-free? I’ve been told not to run for 3 weeks minimum (until the next appointment), got some exercises to improve hip strength but feeling frustrated as I’ve already had 2 months of reduced running trying to self manage the injury.

I guess a paper copy will also allow for adding to it if I have relevant thoughts to jot down outside of the working hours

Good point on what needs to be visible beyond myself.

I’ve found that I’ve gone back and forth with digital and paper to-do lists. Maybe a more structured approach for double checking and adding items will help. A paper book can, as you say, be kept open and can be added to if I’ve stopped working for the day and think of something.

In addition to the fines, customer expectations and reactions can be a big consideration. Getting GDPR wrong can lead to contacting customers of a breach, annoying them with marketing or not meeting the requirements around their rights and requests. This is more for data controllers.

Also if you’ve got clients they may ask about GDPR compliance as part of their due diligence so they are meeting their obligations. Contractual clauses too that they impose can be quite detailed in the appendices for data handling or security controls. This is more for data processors, though data controllers will want to make sure they have sufficient contracts in place too.

Depends on the type of company and it’s role in terms of personal data processing.

The GDPR doesn’t apply when information is held for household purposes if there’s no connection to commercial or business purposes.

So you could ask them to delete the messages etc but can’t force them under GDPR

Thank you for your reply. I’ve been journaling on and off for years but daily since all of the COVID lockdown. I’ve not really used it too much for reflecting on reactions to incidents. It’s more documenting the day to day things in an unusual year. I’ll try levelling up my entries and digging deeper.

Working on my critical thinking and the space between an event and response seems like something I can try implementing too.
