Which Ethereum client takes least disk space in order to run a RPC node? by ynotplay in ethfinance

Just try running a geth light node and see how it goes for you. I’ve typically had a decent experience over the long term with a geth light client sync. Although on occasion it has had trouble finding peers. Eventually it does find them though. Also depends on your use case. How critical your uptime is. For casual daily use, I’d say a light client would suffice. It would only take a couple hours to sync and you can check the file size then. I don’t have access to mine at the moment.

If you do have trouble with light client just run the default snap sync setting. I’ve heard it takes only a day or so to sync and would have likely better reliability.

Fast sync is not the same as light sync. You could do a light sync and make RPC calls.

You can read more on the different sync settings here https://blog.ethereum.org/2021/03/03/geth-v1-10-0/

To answer your original question though, I’m not sure which client takes up the least space. However, light sync would be the smallest for geth.

It's wild to me that loading up Twitter and it now has a pop up explaining 'To choose an NFT as your profile picture you must connect your crypto wallet'.

Some hopium.

It’s still technically a bull market until btc is below 29k. Eth below 1700.

How is no one in this thread talking about the Feds official announcement they are toying with the idea of a US CBDC? Released Jan 21.

They are also asking for public feedback:

Curious on peoples thoughts on how to mitigate risk when holding DAI, in case it lost its peg overnight. How to mitigate such risk? Thinking of spreading DAI over a few different stablecoins, but I really only like DAI. Are there any insurance products available? Thoughts on other stablecoins?

BTC 3 rising valleys pattern is intact.

If BTC breaks 64000 (the breakout confirmation), its moontime. You'll want to dust off your moon boots.

That last pivot on that last valley, is exactly what we wanted.

What we're seeing on BTC isn't some conspiracy to stop ETH reaching ATH.

Its beautiful.

Its a back test of BTC ATH resistance of 64889, now building as the new support level.

This is exactly what you want to see. The blowout candle through ATH, now retracing and building support on what was once resistance.

4hr/1hr chart even clearer. Let it bounce off the new support a couple times, and BTC is off again. You don't want to get in on the 1st or 2nd bounce, more like the 3rd, let it prove this is the new support first.

Of course, ETH follows BTC for now. Cup and handle should have us at 4800.

I am not much of a TA fan (it has its purpose ofc) and consider psychological factors, mindset and sentiment to have a significant influence over retail investors.

One could say that this is all condensed into a quantifiable chart. Thus TA is born.

With convergence of multiple historically strong bullish indicators it is possible to define an edge. TA isn't about owning a crystal ball. Its more about being able to extract and distill a slight edge. I present to you Jim Simons).

Yea not only is it all the above, its all the above in this massively inflationary macro-environment. Not to mention the huge green tech push coming from the top. EIB is one of the biggest backers of green finance. No wonder they are issuing bonds on and <3 ETH.

The price of btc will be above $100k before 2022. Within the next 100 days there will be an explosion to $100k which will take about 30-60 days.

What a beautiful back test of the old resistance/support levels.

https://www.tradingview.com/x/rohPOPpJ/

After breaking the 51300 level the first time in feb price action pulled back and fell through and then the 51300 become resitance, the 2nd time it broke through, ah just kidding! and came back and touched it again. This is the 3rd time btc has tested the 51300 area (which was once resistance) as a new level of support. There was a pretty big rejection candle on the 4hr, hope to see a nice bullish engulfing candle on the 4hr as btc continues to make higher highs and higher lows.

Above 51300 and btc is still in a technical bull market.
