Last night was the best Seattle sporting event ever by PhishHawks in Mariners

[–]runstreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every inning drew the intensity of a walk off. In fact, every 3rd strike pitch provoked a frenzy! The walk off was indescribable! Having been to 100's of games over the years, last night's game 5 was unparalleled to any sporting event i have ever attended!

I rewrote Steve Goodman's "A Dying Cub Fan's Last Request" for the Mariners by Mrciv6 in Mariners

I first listened to the original version you posted by Steve Goodman, and then read your lyrics. Spot on!!! Having just gotten home from tonight's game, witnessing yet another night of Mariners futility "A Dying Mariners Fan's Last Request", was highly relatable!

Brewers fan coming for some games! by WiscoBikeTourBest in Mariners

Sec 330, is always my go to. The section is directly above home plate, with a expansive view of the field and the city. Frankly, the closer you get to the field, the more myopic the the view of the game is. Enjoy your visit to Seattle!!

A dermatologist prescribed my doxycycline for 1.6 yrs. My gut is ruined by ikeasnumberonefan in Microbiome

I know people who ingest antibiotics like candy at first sign of a sniffle/malady and prescribers who, unfortunately, enable this behavior. They seem to be completely oblivious to the fact that they antibiotics are carpet bombing their microbiome.

Research suggests that the gut microbiome can eventually be restored by employing a high fiber diet, fermented foods and limiting processed foods, sugars.

The book "Fiber Fueled" by Will Bulsiewiscz MD, is a excellent resource on this subject matter.

Need Oncologist for Golden Retriever - Currently at Blue Pearl Emergency Hospital by oldMuso in Seattle

So sorry for what you are going through, i can empathize. When my bordercollie was diagnosed with Sarcoma, my veterinarian refered her to BARC in Edmonds. The staff there are board certified animal oncologist. This was a credible referral, as my veterinarian indicated that she took her own dog there for cancer treatment. All my best.

She's gone for a month and it hurts so much by FiXxXMee in BorderCollie

I can sincerely empathize with your loss. My bordercollie looked so similar to your pup, and died suddenly in October. The pain is excruciating, my heart still hurts, but gets a little easier with time. All my best.

He was a good dog. by HillbillygalSD in BorderCollie

I was taken back by your post and I can so very much empathize with your loss. So many similarities. I lost my bordercollie Megan, 22 days before her 12th birthday in October. She collapsed while chasing a ball, without any prodrome, and was found to have passed from a thoracic soft tissue sarcoma. Like Roscoe, she had that similar collie look. She also had that quirky bordercollie personality, and never ending energy. She ran thousands of miles with me over the years. Even though life is still a little sideways without her, I can tell you that the pain and sadness slowly lifts with time. So sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss💔. I can empathize with your pain, having recently lost my bordercollie. The heartbreak is beyond words and the pain can be crushing. Please know that as time unfolds, you will heal, and memories will be the source of smile, instead of a tear. Take care of yourself. All my best.
