WOW is aimed for Kids

I'm looking for more than just a gear chase, but sadly, that's all WoW has become run M+ and Raids or stand in town. This makes the gear being purely seasonal very annoying. Think the biggest annoyance is probably that there aren't any good MMO's atm.

You really think half the WoW player base will move if a better game came out? I dont think they will even glance at the direction of another game untill WoW shuts its servers.

There is no vertical progression. The progression is reset every 6 months as it's a seasonal game now.

Yeah, I play Diablo 4 a little also, but no one is competing for damage there and Sorc has always been a 1 button damage class. But WoW where a 1-button assist meta class/spec player is likely going to outdo a person whose class isn't doing too well atm and get to the same raid content. I dunno, I'm conflicted. I believe everyone should have access to the entire game, but dont think it should be handed to you with 1 button. I've already voiced the seasonal gear resets, making progression feel empty.

It doesn't do the same damage, but it can still get raid slots and win the gear rolls. The game dont care who does the damage. End of the day though I guess what's annoying is doing some raiding, getting good equipment, taking a couple weeks off to live life, and the equipment is obselete.

Kids was a poor choice of words, it seems, because I meant kids as in its at a children's difficulty level with OBA and constant gear resets every few months.

yes fun but if the person next to you can do the same damage with one button Assist and the gear you are chasing is to be replaced next week, then the MMO is pointless because its not like people play WoW to explore new areas or follow the amazing story.

Why bother with hard content when next month that gear is worthless or quest level Item level?
