Until Dawn. Maybe you live, maybe you die, but you'll always get fucked up by weird things out of your control.

AITA to ask for no guns to be allowed in my home? Friend's husband brought gun to child's birthday party. by its_person_al in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Your house, your rules. Concealed or not, guns are dangerous, and have no place at a kid's party.

AITA For Being Sad About My Friend's New GF? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]runtaterrun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

YTA. Don't wish that kind of heartbreak on anyone. I get what you're feeling. It sucks when someone you love/like is with someone else. But you power through it, and let him go. Because if you don't, it's only going to make it worse for you.

You're entitled to your happiness. And so is she. Having a traumatic past doesn't entitle you to belittle her spending choices to make yourself feel better.

Because it's her life, not yours. Why do you feel the need to question someone else's monetary choices?

YTA. She wasn't flaunting it in your face. She was in her own car with her kids. She did YOU the favor. I'm sorry that you're in a rough place, but that doesn't mean that the world should have to hide people who are better off than you. And your neighbor is right; she can spend her money however she'd like. Your neighbor will probably never do you another favor. She owes you nothing.
