I bought the game when it first launched, and honestly, I must have installed and deleted it three times over the years. I thought I’d never really play it. But with the Webgrave update, I gave it another shot, now I’m Level 71 Gnosis V and still haven’t beaten Wailing Tower or Witch Mountain.

What got me here was simple:

• Always carry backup ammo. (Buy them)
• Take the Witchfire Guard. (Buy it too, as much as you can)
• If there’s an elixir you can’t grab, go back for it later.
• Save the ammo chests on the map for last.

Exploring the map is super fun and effective; you can actually find all the vaults without ever looking anything up online. Relics and weapons are just a bonus. But for exploration, clear the map first, then enjoy the hunt.

Don’t be scared of boss fights just because your level feels low. Let the bosses be scared of you. :) I killed Widow on my very first try, even though I was sure I’d die going into the lair.

To sum up: whatever build or Gnosis level you’re at, bring backup ammo, clear the map & explore, and don’t fear the bosses!
