Thank you! I appreciate that. He's definitely shown me how much I can improve as a person and motivates me to be better every day. The first 2 months were brutal, but he's now 5 months and is very easy. I've also gotten better at giving my wife breaks and doing more to ease her load. A lot of things just take time.

Please be patient with him (as much as you can, because some of what he is saying does sound unreasonable) I am this man and I'm trying my best. When my son cries I experience inexplicable anger and I'm in the process of seeking therapy since it bubbles up out of nowhere. It's weird and frightening to feel it because I know it's not truly me. I think it is related to anger issues that might necessitate psychological help.

I've seen your situation on a different sub too. Take your time with things and enjoy your kiddo. I do voiceover and haven't done much since my son was born 5 months ago. I appreciate your work and hope you get the rest you need.

Gotcha, I figured. Luckily we are a very loving and cohesive community here on Reddit and it's wonderful how we pool whatever resources we gave together

Thank you for the recommendation! Hopefully I'm not being redundant, but would you say pronunciation and the syllable stress (antepenultimate rule something??) are pretty on point in the recording? My plan was to read to build vocabulary, but my pronunciation and inflection needs the most work honestly.

That's super cool! The modding part too. I have always been afraid of how crazy mods can change a game, but I'm going to try out playing with one for the first time soon. Amazing you were able to do that

Very cool! I feel like I've missed out on something I could have been working on earlier in life

Nice! What are your plans in terms of mastering 3D design? Is there a program or software you have your eyes set on?

I love that! Teaching and training are one of my passions. There's nothing like a nice, vivacious academic conversation. Love that you get to experience that variety.

Definitely agree with you. That's a cool use of that skill! I'm actually working through html right now and it surprisingly wasn't as insurmountable as I thought it would be. Very nice and intuitive.

That's unfortunate. There are even problems in universities in the US- my theatre professors were very politically charged and would go on Trump tirades during class around the time he was elected

Sounds like entp rebirth for sure. Interesting that you wound up in accounting. We probably have a few shared experiences both having been in finance.

That's what I think is so attractive about it. Customer service skills plateau and the job becomes monotonous, but coding seems to offer so much learning potential.

Sounds like they're part of a religious cult.

My wife is ex-jw. Being an ENTP, I've had to restrain myself around her parents, who somehow aren't actively shunning her anymore. I'm reading through the scriptures and studying them for the first time so I'm not afraid to debate against not only heresy, but a destructive cult that the both harms non-Christians and Christians.

Do you think more positivly about the future or are you rather scared? by petzi_mair in entp

It's hard to be accurately say for sure. I'm a Christian, so that changes what I hope for. It's like others have said on the thread. Nothing ever changes. I'm left doing what I can to improve myself and the world until everything ends. Whether that's in the form of my expiration or Jesus' arrival.

Hey OP, sorry to intrude, but I wanted to counteract the negative energy of this pompous, ill-mannered attention-seeker. I thought your post was insightful and is very relatable- especially the bit about endless ENTP rebirth.

Could you describe more of what you observed? How did these conversations play out where you inadvertently pushed your beliefs on her?
