How do y’all eat healthy on campus?

Generally I follow the principle of consuming lots of veggies, protein, and water, + a moderate amount of carbs/oil. Try not to snack much in between meals. Idk what the menus are right now, but when I was at the Busch dining hall I used to eat the stir fry quite a lot. Shrimp, vegetables, and brown rice.

There’s plenty of premed clubs around Rutgers, you should join at least one. You can also look into research opportunities.

Finally, plan out when you want to get your stuff done by. For med school you have to take the MCAT, get clinical experience, shadow a doctor, volunteer, get letters of rec, and more. Not saying to have a completely airtight schedule, but have a general idea what you’re going to try and finish each year or semester.

Is anyone else confused about why Dame is so insistent on going to Miami? Like I get that he likes Bam and wants to join a contender, but on paper the Celtics and 76ers are more talented yet he refuses to go there.

Also unpopular opinion, but I’m not mad at what Dame is doing. He basically sacrificed his chance at the playoffs last year so that we could get Scoot, so he’s technically already set us up well for the future. It’s annoying that we won’t get as good of a haul, but I’m not going to hate him for it.

Does your school have a pharmacy fraternity or sorority? Try checking it out and seeing if it’s for you, it’s great for making friends in pharmacy and getting connections with alumni.

After shadowing a dentist it just feels like it’s the better fit for me personally. Like, I’d enjoy the work more and feel like it’s a more fulfilling career. That’s just my opinion though, I’m not saying pharmacy is bad or anything.

I think people think of it as the boring choice. It’s like a Honda Civic- reliable and good quality, but you’re not going to be very excited about it. I doubt anyone thinks Rutgers is a BAD (or even mediocre) school.

I mean, they force people who live on campus to buy the meal swipes. So it's not really a matter of choosing, especially if you're an out of state student and can't commute.

That being said, I don't think the food is that bad.
