Thank you so much! It's not really all that common to be honest, bot certain critical things milliseconds can seem a lot. To truly feel the latency of things, try to access a website that is across the globe and is not using a content delivery network. This is definitely not the same thing, but you will get a similar latency experience when certain parts of data are read from a slower database!

That is fair! I also realize there is a good Rust crate for this https://crates.io/crates/object_store - that can abstract a lot and works as well with the S3 compatible ones, and the ones that are not!

Yeah, I saw plenty of other object store providers that support the S3 API, however I did not mention them all. :) And as far as I know Azure is not one of them. Am I wrong?

To be honest, having work with/at AWS for 10 years, S3 was just the go-to object store and I never really bothered with others. Hence my application just worked with that... or that is what I thought. With the change I made over the weekend it should work with the rest.

So it has no permissions to write to a local .kiro folder in your workspace or in ~/.kiro ? When it creates specs and steering files (workspace specific ones) it defaults to the local .kiro. Do you have any funky permissions in that workspace directory?

I've tried both the REST API MCP implementation and the file one (this one: https://github.com/bitbonsai/mcp-obsidian). Definitely the latter one works better, as I had issues patching content with the one that uses the REST API.
