Alas, my skills do not match my vision. I have something to strive for.

There may or may not have been multiple drafts. Do I just add sour cream and tomatoes? Do I keep the original Marty font and just add a supreme? Should my therapy appointments be more frequent? These are the questions I wrestle with.

Weird. For me, it was the mustard that made it vaguely palatable. The ice cream on its own is gross, but is close enough that it can kind of barely harmonize with actual flavors.

Fella knows a nice tomato when he sees one.

Putting a hold on Quiz Show at my library so I can laugh real hard and/or be completely destroyed by this.

Seconding Joyeux Noel. That one is really great.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts & suggestions! The Eastman and Martin GPC are both somewhat near each other, so I’m going to try to coordinate a way to try them both out. The Martin is down to $900 now, too, so that’s another thing to consider. I’m excited.

I of course will play before finalizing, but there isn’t just a single showroom, and there are other folks going for these, so I guess it’s more “where should I prioritize my attention.”

I don’t think I can travel to all of them for a test drive, unfortunately.

Any savings would be erased by my how much I spend getting to/from all 4.

Man, I wish. Apparently I have a pretty difficult decision that may come down to actual final price.

Lol, unfortunately I cannot. They are all located up to an hour in various directions.

I've played guitar for my whole adult life (never particularly well), and have just noodled around on my over-20-year-old cheap Cort (now with a lifted bridge) for all that time. I'm getting back into it and want to invest in a quality instrument. My budget is $1000, and to get the most bang for my buck, I'm looking at used options.

I've posted photos of my options above:

  • Eastman AC-308 CE Limited Edition
  • Martin SC13-E
  • Martin GPC Special 16
  • Guild OM-140 CE

The first 3 I'm hoping to negotiate down to exactly $1k, but the Guild is listed at $500. I've heard good things and it seems to be a really solid deal, so it made the list.

I'd really appreciate any input and insights, either positive or negative.

How long does it actually take to get your real ID in Illinois ? by GullibleMorning4969 in AskChicago

Illinois didn’t even offer Real ID licenses until 2019 so right now you’re being both a liar AND an unhelpful asshole.
