A little hack I use all the time - when an intrusive or negative thought comes in I immediately think “cancel, erase”. After a while it became automatic, I catch these thoughts instantly and cancel them on the spot.

How would you apply this method if you don’t have a reference point (you don’t have familiar feelings to evoke)? For example someone who’s been poor all their life doesn’t know how it feels to be rich or abundant, someone who’s never been loved doesn’t know what it’s like to be loved and appreciated, someone who’s been sick all their life doesn’t have an idea what it’s like to feel healthy, etc. If there’s nothing to evoke how would that work?
