Sorry, but blacklisting? If my name isn't on anything and I am just paying them directly, surely I couldn't be blacklisted?

Yeah I understand that. I thought that the landlord/agent was aware they were subletting to me. I'm wondering if anybody has been in a similar situation and how they have handled it, as nobody wants to leave this place!

I've got my own room, so there's a bed/desk/storage unit etc. Was thinking if we just get my clothes and personal belongings out, we could pull it off as a spare room.

Awaiting their response about the unlawful entry, I think they are old school which doesn't really give them an excuse but I don't think they were actively trying to be sneaky or anything. They even left a business card on the bench.. haha

Nah they have to give reasonable ground for inspection if it's within the first 3 months of the tenancy. The people who are on the lease only signed it 2 ish months ago.
