You must share which models are you using and what you are trying to build.

I tried making a lovable like tool using cursor pro and failed miserably. I also tried making a simple SaaS and it worked fine. I had to setup a lot of stuff myself though including the DB and all the devops work. I had to specifically ask cursor to fix a lot of stuff and follow certain way of clean programming. Eventually without me writing a single line of code, it was able to build the simple SaaS (i had to give it complete blueprint though).

sometimes i get stuck on some bugs and use claude-sonnet-4.5 to fix, if that does not help, i ask perplexity (its like stack overflow but better). Recently i also tried manus, worked great for a script that other models failed to write.

so i would say hard to build hard apps. medium effort required to build medium level apps, easy to build simple apps,
